  4. Harry E. “Mick” Ent, age 79 of DuBois, PA died Monday, May 23, 2022 at his home. Born on April 22, 1943 in Ridgway, PA, he was the son of the late Harry A. Ent and Mary E. (McFadden) Case. Mick was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Vietnam Era. On June 5, 1993 he married his wife of 29 years, Pamela A. (Kalgren) Ent. She survives. Mick was employed at the Maple Avenue location of the DuBois Regional Medical Center for 27 years in various capacities and he served as the Pastor at Boone Mountain Emanuel Church from 2006 until 2012. In 2014 until 2020, Mick served in the United Methodist Ministry. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter (Sandra E. Ent of DuBois, PA), and two sisters (Denise Thompson of Brookville, PA and Mary Anne Whetstone of Bedford, PA). He was preceded in death by one brother (Derald “Bud” Ent) and his step-father (James L. Case). Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 1 p.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Jody Smith and Pastor Robert Zilhaver co-officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard from the funeral home. Burial will take place in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.   5. Ida June Rogos, age 95 of Brockway, PA died Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Highland View Healthcare. Born on February 23, 1927 in Newton Falls, OH, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick S. and Nellie Mae (Helsley) King. On April 3, 1948 she married her husband of 70 years, Donald D. Rogos. He preceded her in death in July of 2018. Ida June was a wife, a homemaker, a mother, grammy and great grammy. She loved the Lord and attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Brockway. Her family was the pride and joy of her life, and she loved each one with all of her heart. She leaves behind her loving family (Joanne Rogos of Canonsburg, PA, Linda Petak of North Potomac, MD, Donna Kadar & her husband David of Olmstead, OH and Tim Rogos & his wife Jennifer of Brockway, PA). She was blessed with ten grandchildren (Dr. Kyle Kutrovac and his wife Mera, Klete Kutrovac & his wife Ashley, Corby Wilson & his wife Magin, Kristin Wilson , Kelly Garrison & her husband Justin, Lindsay Petak & husband Chris, Ashley Hodgson & husband Mike, Stormie, Ronnie and Quentin Kadar and Jacob and Jared Rogos, seventeen great grandchildren (Brady, Cody, Mark, Liam, Kleyton, Kage, Kolter, Kyler, Kinsley, June, Beckham, Olivia, Sam, Emily, Izzi and a great granddaughter and a great grandson on the way. Ida June was preceded in death by five brothers, four sisters and one grandson Jeffrey Petak. There will be no public visitation. A private family funeral service will be held from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor Tom Henretty officiating. Burial will take place in Beechwoods Cemetery.   6. Richard F. Garthwaite, Sr., age 95 of Falls Creek, PA died Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on September 20, 1926 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late George and Mary Jane (Berry) Garthwaite. Richard was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II. | On March 20, 1959 he married his wife of 61 years Helen M. (Maloney) Garthwaite. She survives. Richard retired as a self-employed contactor. He was a member of the James J. Patterson Post 813 Veterans of Foreign Wars. Richard is survived by his children (Richard Garthwaite, Jr. of Falls Creek, PA, John Garthwaite and his wife Brenda of Sabula, PA and JoAnn Crytser and her husband Edward of DuBois, PA), one sister Lois Atkins of Illinois, one brother Samuel Garthwaite of Latrobe, PA, ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers (Clayton, Robert, George and John Garthwaite) and two sisters (Grace and Gene Garthwaite). Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 11 AM from the funeral home with Pastor Butch Brunner officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.   7. John R. Bullers, age 66 of Rockton, PA died Sunday, May 22, 2022 at his home. Born on April 25, 1956 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Theodore Bullers and Dorothy (Bundy) Bullers Gearhart. John was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served during the Vietnam War. On January 11, 1977 he married his wife of 45 years, Debbie (Kurten) Bullers. She survives. He retired from Asplundh Tree Service after many years of service. John was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He also loved to golf. He is also survived by his children (Toby Bullers and his wife Kim of DuBois, PA, Cody Bullers of Chicago, IL and Mandy Bullers-Peters and her husband Andrew of DuBois, PA), two grandchildren (Rylee Bullers and Ethan Peters), and one sister Betty Stouse of New Kensington, PA. He was preceded in death by one brother (Theodore Bullers) and one sister (Dorothy Mae Overbeck). As per John’s wishes, there will be no public visitation and all funeral services will be private. Burial will take place in Luthersburg Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hahne Cancer Center, 100 Hospital Ave. DuBois, PA 15801.   8. Debbie D. Peterson, age 69 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, May 21, 2022 at her home. Born on November 21, 1952 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Curtis M. and Doris L. (Reekie) Flack. Debbie had worked at Robert Cole Trucking and been co-owner of the Furniture Room of DuBois, PA. She is survived by two sisters (Linda Huseby of DuBois, PA and Connie L. Steffy and her husband Ken of Reynoldsville, PA). As per Debbie’s wishes, there will be no public visitation and a private family service will be held.
