Keystone Family Child Care Providers will be hosting their first annual fall festival Sunday Oct. 20th at the Florian Banquet Center on Mill Road in Clearfield. The festival will be held from Noon to 4 pm and feature a fun day of activities for kids and families including a magic show at 2 pm. The cost is only $1.00 per person, which includes all activities, as well as hot dogs, chips and drinks. Door prizes and raffles will be held throughout the afternoon. Assassins October 11, 12, 17, 18, 19 at 7pm October 13 at 2pm The Reitz Theater, in DuBois, will present Assassins, sponsored by Global Fabrication and Timberland Federal Credit Union, and directed by Chris Taylor, on October 11, 12, 17, 18, and 19 at 7pm, and October 13 at 2pm. Assassins is the alarmingly funny musical about 9 individuals, who over time have attempted to assassinate the various Presidents of the United States. The show explores the inner motives of each assassin. Eventually, each individual must confront the fact that committing the ultimate crime failed to assuage their personal problems. The first meeting of the local chapter of the Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM) is set for Tuesday, September 17th.
