  1. Benefit spaghetti dinner at the Pulaski hall on Tuesday October 15th from 4 pm til we run out to benefit the family of new baby Lily Connelly who was born with heart problems. The funds raised will help the family with expenses to stay by her side in Pittsburgh. Take outs available.

  5. Keystone Family Child Care Providers will be hosting their first annual fall festival Sunday Oct. 20th at the Florian Banquet Center on Mill Road in Clearfield. The festival will be held from Noon to 4 pm and feature a fun day of activities for kids and families including a magic show at 2 pm. The cost is only $1.00 per person, which includes all activities, as well as hot dogs, chips and drinks. Door prizes and raffles will be held throughout the afternoon. Keystone home-based child care providers will be available to discuss their quality early learning programs, and local human service agencies will also be on hand to discuss their services.     Assassins October 11, 12, 17, 18, 19 at 7pm October 13 at 2pm The Reitz Theater, in DuBois, will present Assassins, sponsored by Global Fabrication and Timberland Federal Credit Union, and directed by Chris Taylor, on October 11, 12, 17, 18, and 19 at 7pm, and October 13 at 2pm. Assassins is the alarmingly funny musical about 9 individuals, who over time have attempted to assassinate the various Presidents of the United States. The show explores the inner motives of each assassin. Eventually, each individual must confront the fact that committing the ultimate crime failed to assuage their personal problems. This musical contains historically accurate language, and is intended for audiences ages 13+. Tickets cost $12 each.   11. The first meeting of the local chapter of the Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM) is set for Tuesday, September 17th. Registration and the buffet breakfast are set for 8 AM and the meeting will begin at 8:30. The meeting will be held at the DuBois Diner. There is no cost for the buffet and the meeting. At this meeting officers will be installed and plans for upcoming meetings will be discussed. The results of survey done with local industry will be reviewed. In addition, Shelley DiGilarmo will present information about the SHRM organization and the benefits of being a national member.
