This is my first time ever of freezing them...i've been told to blanch them and i've been told to put them on a foil and stick in the freezer until they freeze?? What is the best way to do them?

I had picked some green tomatoes because most of the plants and tomatoes got it. Out of about a dozen tomatoes, only half are going to make it for now. I ended up with one red one. Hate to see the price of tomatoes and anything made with them. Same goes for potatoes. Does anyone know how the potatoes are doing. My neighbor's got hit, at least the plant above ground. Don't know how the actual potato will be.
FIL has tomatoes and potatoes...both are great.

Did you start yours from commercial seeds or purchase them from a wholesale store? Just curious.
Mine all of a sudden (over night) have the blight. :-/
Nails, I started mine from seeds. We ended up having to pull all of our plants the other day.

Some of my tomato plants have the blight. They were healthy as can be a couple of days ago...now some of them are half dead. We did pull the worst one out and bagged it...I hope we can save a few of them.

I know what you mean. We did ours from seeds too, we ordered the giant tomato tree (2 of them) and several other tomato plants...the trees were doing fantastic...they were getting very big and tomatos were happening and then all of a sudden...very disappointing.
