We have a ton of tomatoes but our plants appear to be dying off. We have one plant without a leaf on it anymore but the tomatoes are growing and ripening.

Mine are done blooming too. The past few years they bloomed all year. This year they all bloomed at once and are done. I thought maybe they need separated this fall because they are getting big.

I had read somewhere to run a cycle with as hot of water as possible with one cup of white vinegar then another cycle the same but with one cup on bleach. I did this and the smell was gone. I tried just the bleach before and it didn't work as well. Don't forget to clean the rubber around the door with the vinegar and bleach too.

This is the best potato soup I have had in a long time.

30 oz bag of hash brown shreds

3 14 oz cans of chicken broth

1 can of cream of chicken soup

1 small onion diced

Black pepper to taste

* I added half pack of Bacon fried and crumbled*

Combine all the ingredients in crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours

During last hour add 1 8 oz block.of cream cheese

Serve with cheddar cheese

I am not a soup eater but this was very good that I even took it for lunch the next day.

Did we ever figure out what year this was?

I will  say 1957.... Who important died around then?..What's the prize?

I by using peroxide for removing blood off clothes.  Just pour the peroxide onto the blood spot and it bubbles the protein out.  The protein is what stains, but the peroxide removes the protein.  I keep doing this until it no longer bubbles then wash as normal.  It works great on whites and colors (it doesn't bleach out the color, I have used it on black clothing several times).  Also you can use it on carpeting etc.
