  1. If you are just going to be a troll, please go away. Far away.
  2. Thanks I am taking him in Monday. It's really hard like bone. I am thinking maybe it's a partial dislocation. There is no fluid build up and it's staying the same size. He has been staying off of it, poor guy It is right at the joint above his foot. Front left leg. I stayed up late last night and baked him doggie treats to baby him. I am super worried and hope it's nothing serious. I appreciate all the helpful advice from everyone so far Please let me know if you think of anything else!
  3. Not having rabies is a benefit. I am concerned about my dog, not your outdated opinion on immunizations. Thanks.
  4. Give me a break. So you are not only against flu vaccine for humans but rabies for animals as well? I'm sorry but SMH...
  5. This is a baseball sized lump and it's on his lower front leg. He got his shots in his butt.
  6. He is on Flagyl and Amoxicillin for a bit of an explosive poopy issue. But he has been on that for over a month now. He got his booster vaccines yesterday. That's all. And he takes Rimadyl and Metacam for his arthritis. But he has taken those for a couple years now.
  7. The side by side pic is the affected leg and his good leg together.
  8. My Saint Bernard, Chewy, was at the vet yesterday. His leg was fine. Last night I noticed he was limping and on his front leg, at the lower joint, there is now a huge lump! It's hard like bone, it's not fluid filled. I gave him his arthritis medicine and it hasn't seemed to help. He is still putting weight on it and is just limping, still using it a little. I called the vet and left a message. I will post a pic. Has anyone ever seen this before?? I am so worried about him
  9. I appreciate all the input very much. The reason I am unsure is because some days she is still the way she has been for years. Running around the house and playing with my kids. They are 8 and 2 and I have no idea how to explain this to them. But the other days she is usually hiding out under the covers in my bed, not coming out for hours. The accidents have only been a few times a week, usually when she is asleep. She is an Akita, so they shed like crazy in spring and fall. She is shedding but it's not growing back. So she has these bald patches behind her ears and on her back and butt. I am just afraid of making a decision prematurely. She still seems to have good, happy days. So we are going to head to the vet and see what they say. Maybe there are some meds that can make her bad days more comfortable and let her enjoy the holidays with her family?
  10. She is a 13 year old Akita. Sometimes she seems ok, but she will stop eating sometimes for days, the vet diagnosed her with cancer a year ago. She is having a lot of accidents, and goes for hours where she will hide and I can't find her. I'm just not sure. She doesn't act like she is in pain or suffering but she can't talk so I don't know
  11. How do decide when it's time to put a sick pet down?
  12. The print looks too detailed to me. I bet it's fake And that's a good question, did she drop her purse beside the footprint?
