  1. Sandra J. Murray of Treasure Lake, DuBois, Pa. died at her residence on 6 June, 2021, attended by her husband and Hospice Care nursing staff. She was born in Middletown, NY in February 1948; her parents, Robert and Shirley Murray predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her stepson Jorgen Singer, and several members of her husband’s family in Butler, Pa. who were very dear to her. She was married to David Singer for 30 years and they moved to Treasure Lake from Kingston, NY, in 2007. He survives. She is also survived by step daughter Kirsten Ford, her husband Jared Ford and three grandchildren, Aidan, Caleb and Norah Ruth of Glenville, NY. Her surviving siblings are Shirley, Robert and Steven Murray, all of New York State, along with numerous nieces, nephews and children; she considered numerous remaining family relatives in Butler, Pa. to be loved ones. She was very appreciative of the quality hospice care provided by the nursing staff at the DuBois Penn Highlands Community Nurses program. Sandra worked for the New York State Office of Mental Health for 35 years. A graduate of Syracuse University, the New School for Social Research, NYC, and the Ackerman Institute for the Family, NYC, she was a Registered Nurse, a certified family therapist and a Hospital Administrator. She served in various professional positions during her career and thoroughly enjoyed the challenges presented by working with mentally ill patients or employees. She was a conservative political activist in the tea party movement and supported the Clearfield County Republican Committee. The values of personal achievement, individual responsibility and protection of our God given individual rights were at the core of her beliefs. She was involved in volunteer committee membership at Treasure Lake, was an NRA Life Member and member of the Treasure Lake Sportsman’s Club. She enjoyed spending time in prayer, caring for her cats and husband, reading, skiing, renovating the residence in Treasure Lake and practicing golf and shooting. She dearly loved her husband’s fraternity brothers and wives and she looked forward to their annual reunion each year, hosting several events at her home in Treasure Lake. She entered the Roman Catholic Church in 2015 and was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Parish in DuBois. The last six years of her life were the most personally satisfying and fulfilling of her entire life, because of her involvement with and dedication to her faith. She expressed her appreciation of spiritual guidance and support to Father Daniel Kresinski, Msgr. Richard Siefer and Father Steven Neff. Funeral arrangements have been made through the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. There will be no public viewing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Church on Robinson Street in DuBois, at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant, with burial at the St. Michael cemetery following the Mass.   2. Girda M. “Jean” Yezzi, age 101, (formerly of Sykesville, PA and Erie, PA) died Sunday, June 6, 2021 at StoryPoint Assisted Living in Hamilton, OH. Born on June 15, 1919 in Sykesville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank Patt and Mary Tiano. On July 7, 1947, she married Michael J. Yezzi at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Sykesville, PA. He preceded her in death on May 25, 2007. Jean had worked on the assembly line and in packaging for 40 years at Erie Technological Products in Erie, PA. She was a member of Maximillion Kolbe Catholic Church in West Chester, OH. Jean is survived by her children (Kathleen Kobielski (Gary) of Hamilton, OH and Michael Yezzi, Jr. (Jack Hopkins) of San Francisco, CA), one brother (James Patt, Cannonsburg, PA) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 8 siblings (Ann Bonavita, Amelia Patti, Vina Masiak, Albert, Tony, Nuncie and Sam Patt & June Weber). Visitation will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.   3. Homer C. “Bud” Terwilliger, age 78 of DuBois, PA formerly of Brockway, PA died Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on January 29, 1943 in Brookville, PA, he was the son of the late Charles & Lillian (Irvin) Terwilliger. In 1980, he married his wife Emma (Horn) Terwilliger. She survives. Bud retired from Brockway Pressed Metals after over 25 years of service. He loved hunting and fishing, following NASCAR, camping and riding his 4-wheeler. Bud is survived by his children (Heidi Smith, Raymond Terwilliger, David Bloom, Aron Terwilliger, Thomas Terwilliger and Michael Terwilliger) and ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; (Carl and Jackie Terwilliger), 1 sister (Ruth Terwillger) and 1 daughter (Tammy Terwilliger). There will be no public visitation. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.   4. Francis “Eddie” Klaiber, age 84 of Penfield, PA died Thursday, June 3, 2021 at his home. Born on November 3, 1936 in Jay Township, Elk County, he was the son of the late Thomas & Frances (Benevich) Klaiber. On August 29, 1964, he married his wife of 50 years, Joyce M. “Jay” (DeSalve) Klaiber. She preceded him in death on September 8, 2014. Eddie was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Force, PA where he was very active in church affairs, and the Bennetts Valley Lions Club. Eddie enjoyed reading, doing word puzzles, watching westerns and loved watching Jeopardy. Ed is survived by his two children: Scott F. Klaiber of Penfield, PA and Tammy L. Brundridge and her husband, Jimmie of DuBois, PA, two brothers (Gerald and Kenneth Klaiber) and one sister (Mary Amoriello). He was preceded in death by three sisters; (Patricia Bauer, Jean Marie Klaiber and Germaine Trentini) and two brothers (Thomas and Dennis “Pete” Klaiber).   5. Philip F. Kearns, of DuBois PA, “checked out” on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the age of 96. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Simmons, his father, Philip F. Kearns, his stepfather, William Simmons, his former wife, Arlene, and his longtime friend, Dottie Loop. He is survived by his children: Lori (Kearns) Baker and her husband, Michael, of Montclair VA, Gary Kearns and his wife, Kate, of Naples, FL, Brian Kearns of Manhattan Beach, CA, and Kathleen (Kearns) Brennan of Westerly, RI; and granddaughters, Colleen (Kearns) Tibbett, Megan Kearns, and Stephanie Brennan. Phil, born on April 2, 1925, in Pittsburgh, PA, spent his early years in the Nelson House, founded by his maternal grandfather, Swan Nelson. He was a 1943 graduate of St. Catherine’s High School. He joined the Navy at the age of 18 and served in the Pacific Theater from 1943-1946. In 1949, he started out as mail carrier and bookkeeper at the Union Banking and Trust Company (now S & T Bank), working his way up to teller and Assistant Treasurer. He retired from the bank in 1987 as Vice President of the Trust Office. Phil’s service to the DuBois area community began when he was a young man. He was a charter member and past president of the DuBois Jaycees, and was chairman of the DuBois Jaycees swimming pool project, which brought DuBois its first public outdoor pool. He was the 1973 recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the DuBois Jaycees. He served as president of the DuBois Area Chamber of Commerce, and as chairman of the DuBois Housing Authority. He was a member of the American Legion, the Vets Club, and the Elks Club, of which he was a past Exalted Ruler. In his younger days, Phil enjoyed sports like bowling, and hunting with his sons, Gary and Brian. Golf became his main pastime, and with Gary and Brian and sometimes his granddaughter Megan, traveled to storied golf courses such as Pebble Beach in California, some of the most famous courses in Ireland and played Carnoustie in Scotland at age 93. His children will remember him for his generosity and sense of humor, his ever-present pipe, his beautiful singing voice, especially Irish ballads, and his love of a good time and of beer. Watching aircraft taking off and landing was always a thrill, and the closer and louder, the better. Chasing fire trucks was a family pastime; when the sirens started, he and his children would pile into the car to follow the fire trucks to the fire. His one-liners are legendary and will live on in the memories of all who called him a friend. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 2 PM – 4PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. Immediately following the visitation friends and family are invited to a celebration of Phil’s life from 4 PM – 6 PM at the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17 on Liberty Boulevard. All are welcome. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 10 AM from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.   6. Steven R. Krach, age 51 of DuBois, PA died Tuesday, June 1,2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on February 20, 1970 in Waukegan, IL, he was the son of the late Terry Krach and Shirley (Roush) Krach. Steve was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served during the Persian Gulf War. He was a past member of the Fourth Ward Hose Company. Steve is survived by his children; Lisa Krach, Steven Krach and Kadence Krach, one sister; Christine Waddell and her husband Bradley of DuBois, PA and one brother; Edward Krach of DuBois, PA. There will be no public visitation. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 4 PM from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor David Nagele officiating.   7. Lisa C. Vasilauskas, age 59 of Reynoldsville, PA died Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on April 21, 1962 in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles Cox and Sandra (MacMillan) Cox. On July 21, 1979 she married her husband of 41 years, Grant S. Vasilauskas. He survives. Lisa was a homemaker and had worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for many years. She loved to crochet for her family and friends, she enjoyed gaming and above all, she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lisa is survived by her children; Cassandra Webster and her husband Scott of DuBois, PA, Bobbi Jo Powell and her husband Bob of Woodland, PA and Dereke Vasilauskas and his wife Bridgett of Reynoldsville, PA, twelve grandchildren; Naomi, Noah, Elise, Eowyn, Amelia, Aksana, Emma, Robby, Adrienne, Allison, Abigail and Aubree, one great grandchild; Carsyn, two brothers; Charles and Jeff and five sisters; Lynda Sue, Marilyn, Michelle, Rosemary and Mary Ann. She was preceded in death by one brother; Howard, an infant sister; Shannon and her step-father; Robert McCracken. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 2 PM – 4 PM from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.   8. Felix J. Trainor, Age 79 of Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA died Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor in Brookville, PA. Born on October 7, 1941 in New Castle, Indiana, he was the son of the late Felix R. & Mary E. (Levrington) Trainor. He graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School in 1959. He attended Notre Dame University, then later Ball State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1964. On December 26, 1960, he married his wife of 60 years, Patricia J. “Patty” (Allen) Trainor. She survives. Felix retired from the sales department at Triangle Auto Springs after 25 years of service. Previous to that, he worked in his family owned business, Trainor National Spring Company in New Castle, IN. He was a member of the former Treasure Lake Lions Club, attended Treasure Lake Church and enjoyed golfing and reading. He is survived by 4 children (Deborah Kalgren & her husband Denny of Richardson, TX; Jennifer Kuhn & her husband Tom of Tonganoxie, Ks; Felicia Bonebreak & her husband Jim of St. Charles, IL; and Felix J. “Jimmy” Trainor of New York, NY). 5 grandchildren, 1 brother (Paul Trainor & his wife Suzette of Florida), and 1 sister (Anne Karagiannia of Texas).   9. Joseph S. Haag, Age 80 of Troutville, PA died Sunday, May 30, 2021 at his home. Born on March 18, 1941 in Luthersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Seymor and Suzie (Swartzlander) Haag. On June 17, 1961 he married his wife of 59 years, Linda L. (Knarr) Haag. She preceded him in death on September 7, 2020. Joe was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves having served with the 629th Transportation Unit. He retired from P&N Coal Company as a mechanic after 32 years of service. Joe is survived by his children; (Brian S. Haag & his wife Jacqueline and Terry J. Haag both of Troutville, PA), his five brothers; John, Fred “James”, Albert, Andy and Ted Haag, two sisters; Renie Jones and Kathy Diltz, 3 grandchildren; (Keith Haag & his wife Gina, Steven Haag & his wife Kayla and Jamie Mennetti & her husband Jeremy) and 6 great grandchildren; (Beau & Nolan and Kole and Kobie, Knox and Taylor Haag).   10. H. Michael “Mike” Veltri, age 75 of Reynoldsville, PA died Monday, May 31, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family following a lengthy illness. Born on May 1,1946 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph “Blackie” Veltri, Sr. and Helen (Landini) Ralston. On August 8, 1970 he married his wife of 50 years, Lynda Eilene (Fersak) Veltri. She survives. He was a 1964 graduate of Brockway Area Highschool and was a 1968 graduate of Saint Francis University, earning his bachelor of arts in education. For over 15 years he was a history and economics teacher at the Punxsutawney Area High School. Following his career in education, Mike was a successful State Farm agent in the Reynoldsville, Clarion, and Rimersburg areas for over 25 years. Mike was best known for his love of jokes and humor and love of his family. He was a life-long hunter and fly fisherman and spent innumerable days enjoying these activities with his family and closest friends. He enjoyed spending any time that he could taking in the beauty of God’s creation, which he enjoyed on afternoon rides with his cousin John Michael Landini. In his younger years Mike played for the Brockway Area High School football and baseball teams, and was a wrestler at St. Francis University. He was also an accomplished trumpeter, receiving the John Philip Sousa award for his accomplishments. Along with his wife, Mike is survived by a daughter, Gretchen Gray-Licatovich and her husband Brian; two grandchildren, Morgan and Dallas Gray; three step-grandchildren Eric, Jaron, and Taryn Licatovich; his six half-siblings, Fr. Dennis Veltri, Christina Veltri, Joseph Veltri, Jr., Ricky Veltri, Diane Dickerson, and George “Buddy” Veltri. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 2 PM- 4 PM & 6 PM -8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 10 AM from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer, his brother Father Dennis Veltri and Father Adam Verona con celebrating. Burial will take place in St. Tobias Cemetery. Although flowers are appreciated, the family asks that individuals donate blood to a blood bank of their choice if they are physically capable or to donate to the Community Blood Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York, 2646 Peach Street, Erie, PA 16508, in Mike’s memory.   11. Shawn Michael Meholick, age 38 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, May 27, 2021 at his home. Born on December 20, 1982 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of Mary Jo Meholick. His mother survives and lives in DuBois, PA. along with her companion Michael Szalankiewicz. Shawn had worked at DuBois Logistics in the maintenance department for many years. He was a member of the Polish Citizens Club. He loved music, especially playing his guitar and writing music. Shawn also enjoyed going on walks in the woods, sitting by a fire and was an avid artist. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one uncle (Larry Meholick of DuBois, PA) and two cousins (Annette Clark and Amanda Vela). He was preceded in death by his grandparents (Albert and Josephine Meholick), one uncle (Gary Meholick) and great grandmother (Mary Donavich). There will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 1 p.m. from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Barron as celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be placed with the West Penn Burn Center, 4800 Friendship Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224.   13. Loretta A. Hassan, age 80 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, May 15, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Born on December 27, 1940 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nell (Nedzinski) Thompson. On May 5, 1962, she married her husband of 59 years, Joseph Hassan. He survives. Loretta was a Registered Nurse for 43 years. She was instrumental in the formation of the DuBois Regional Medical Center Home Health and Hospice. Loretta retired as the Supervisor of Home Health in 2004. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church and was an avid Penn State fan. Above all, she loved being with her family and following their many activities.   14. Evelyn R. Reid, Age 89 of Sykesville, PA died Friday, May 14, 2021 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on May 16, 1931 in Sykesville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Blanche (D’Amico) Martino. On July 29, 1950, she married her Donald L. Reid. He preceded her in death on March 12, 1975. Evelyn retired from the DuBois Area School District where she worked for 25 years as manager of the cafeteria. She had also worked at Herb & Tom’s Market in DuBois. She was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed listening to polka music and being the “ticket taker” at the DuBois Beavers football games. Evelyn is survived by a son (Donald J. Reid and his wife Dahlene “Dahle” of Sykesville, PA), a brother (Dr. James Martino and his wife Patricia of DuBois, PA), 7 grandchildren (D.J.   15. William T. Hartman, Jr., Age 68 of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Born on July 23, 1952 in Pittsburgh, PA he was the son of the late William T. and Helen J. (Zimmerman) Hartman, Sr. On October 8, 1977 he married his wife of 44 years, Susan J. (Corrigan) Hartman. She survives. Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Bill had an extensive career in the Silicon Valley Computer Industry. He had always been active in the Boy Scouts of America. Bill obtained the rank of Eagle Scout and later served as an Assistant Scout Master for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman and had vast knowledge of various subjects, especially history, and enjoyed discussing with all. Bill is survived by 3 children (Rebecca Hartman & her husband Rick Cox; Matthew Hartman & his wife Cindy; and Amanda Hartman) and was “Papa” to his granddaughter Madison Hartman. Bill is also survived by his brother, sisters, nieces and nephews and many, many beloved and cherished extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Robert.   16. Dr. Robert John Jarosz (DDS), age 88 of DuBois, PA died peacefully Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at his home. Born on May 15, 1932 in Lackawanna, NY, he was the son of the late John F. & Anna (Bolas) Jarosz. On August 13, 1955, he married his wife of 65 years, Evelyn M. (Manko) Jarosz. She survives. Bob served in the United States Navy from July 9, 1958 until July 5, 1961. He served aboard the USS Tanner AGS-15 in the Dental Corps and was a Senior Dental Officer. After the service, Bob was in private practice in Lackawanna, NY until his retirement in 1996. He was a life member of the 8th District Dental Society of the State of New York, was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, and was a life member of the Erie County Dental Society. Bob a member of the Appolonia Guild, the Acacia Fraternity, Syracuse Chapter, the PSI Omega Dental Fraternity, and was the Past President of the Medical Arts Society. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 3 children (Linda J. Thorwart (Steven) of St. Marys, PA, Robert J. Jarosz, Jr. (Lynette) of Lackawanna, NY, and David L. On October 30, 1965 she married Russell Perks, Sr. He preceded her in death on January 10, 2013. Diana was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bible Fellowship Church.   18. Thomas V. Poulos, age 83, of DuBois, PA died Monday, May 10, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on January 3, 1938 in Kalamata, Greece, he was the son of the late Vasilios & Evgenia Poulos. On February 17, 1963 he married his wife Panagiota “Pota” Poulos. She preceded him in death on December 6, 2019. Tom worked at McDowell Manufacturing in DuBois for 25 years. Previous to that, he was the owner/operator of the Quick Lunch on Brady Street in DuBois for many years. He was a founding member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in DuBois and was a member of St. Nicholas in Altoona. He loved watching Greek television shows, volunteering at the DuBois Nursing Home, and above all, he loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He is survived by two sons; (Vasilios “Bill” Poulos and his wife Evelyn of Newark, DE and Nicholas Poulos of DuBois, PA), three grandchildren; (Blair, Morgan and Panagiota “Mary” Poulos), a brother (Coatas Giannakopoulos) and a sister (Katina Giannakopoulos), both of Greece.   19. Donald E. Wingert, Age 90 of Luthersburg, PA died Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on January 12, 1931 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Roy and Stella Wingert. Don was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in the Korean War. On October 14, 1956, he married his wife of 64 years, Betty Lyons Wingert. She survives. Don was the owner and operator of Wingert Farms. He was a member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ and enjoyed wood working in his shop. He is survived by 2 sons (Denny Wingert & his wife Lisa, and Steve Wingert & his wife Libby, both of Luthersburg, PA), 3 grandchildren (John Wingert & his wife Mindy, and Lauren & Derek Wingert), a brother (Bernard Wingert & his wife Dorothy of Warren, PA), and a sister (Jean McGee & her husband Keith of Willingboro, NJ).   20. Mary J. Rowles, age 72 of Brockport, PA died Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Penn Highlands, DuBois Hospital. Born on October 29, 1948 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Pearl (Heberline) Kitko. On August 19, 1967 she married her husband of 53 years, Raymond B. Rowles. He survives. Mary was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She is also survived by her two sons; (Raymond B. Rowles II and his wife Dana of Chippewa Township, PA and Robert Rowles of Brockport, PA), 2 grandchildren; (Joseph and Taylor Rowles), 1 brother James Kitko of Curwensville, PA) and 1 sister (Dot Saunders of Hampton, VA).   21. On Monday, April 26, 2021 Roger Eugene Long, age 75, passed away at Penn Highlands Hospital in DuBois, PA. Born February 11, 1946 in Fairmont, Marion County, West Virginia, he was the son of US Navy WWII Veteran Nathaniel Eugene “Gene” Long and Rena Jane Wilburn Long. Roger was raised in Ohiopyle, graduating from South Union High School in 1964 where he was an honor student and lettered in baseball. He enlisted in the US Air Force and was assigned to the K-9 Sentry Dog Air Police Squadron at Loring Air Base, Limestone, Maine, for two years following basic training. Loring AFB was the largest base of the Air Force's Strategic Air Command and closest to the Soviet Union during the cold war. In 1966 Roger was assigned to the Tan Son Nhut Air Base in the Gia Dinh Province of South Vietnam where he proudly served his country, alongside his Sentry Dog, Happy. Upon his return to the US, he was stationed at Plattsburg Air Base, NY. While serving in the Air Force Reserves, he went to work for Penn DOT District 12-0 in Uniontown where he would meet his wife to be, Lisbeth Ann Blue. He entered the Pennsylvania State Police Academy in 1971, was assigned to Troop S DuBois following graduation, and studied criminal investigation and law enforcement at the DuBois Campus of Penn State University. Roger was a member of the elite PSP Rodeo Team performing across Pennsylvania and at State Farm Shows in Harrisburg. He also rode with the mounted police unit at many parades across the Commonwealth. Trooper Long was one of the mounted patrolmen taken into the hard-hat riots in Scranton and was sent to the Camp Hill Prison riot. Roger was a Life member of Vietnam Dog Handlers #1900, the Penn State Alumni Association, the Olympia Club (where he was known for making lasagna each Thanksgiving), past Trustee of the Falls Creek Eagles, DuBois American Legion, DuBois VFW, Reynoldsville Elks, Sandy Firemen’s Club and the Retired Public Employees of Pennsylvania. For several years, he coached the Falls Creek Sentries Girls Softball Team. Roger loved his chocolate labs and will be sorely missed by his Halie. He was a skilled wood worker, enjoyed a good cinch game with his buddies, Penn State football, annual golf excursions and organizing the yearly Christmas party while a State Trooper. Although Roger took his time getting to know people, once you were his friend you could have none better. God has now taken him home to once again travel those “Country Roads of Almost Heaven, West Virginia”. He is survived by his wife of over fifty-one years, Lisbeth Ann Blue Long, of Harrisburg; his sister Jo Ellen Butler and her husband, Leonard, of Damascus, AK. There will be no public visitation. A private service will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Centenary United Methodist Pastor Robert Ryder officiating.   22. Patrick T. Hackett, age 67 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, April 24, 2021 at his home. Born on April 29, 1953 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Mary (McDonough) Hackett. On July 2, 1983 he married his wife of 38 years Dorothea (Eskra) Hackett. She survives. Patrick worked as the comptroller for Allison and Associates Construction Services for many years. He is survived by his daughters; Jessica Hackett of Astoria Queens, NY and Caitlin Hackett Farris & her husband Seth of Davie, FL and three sisters; Teresa Byrne and Mary Pat Mariani both of Pittsburgh, PA and Peggy Venning of Beaufort, SC. He was preceded in death by two brothers Robert Burton Hackett and Raymond J. Hackett. Brian Keith Reasinger, Age 63 of State College, PA, formerly of Whitehall, PA died peacefully in his sleep at his home on Saturday, April 24, 2021 following a courageous 9-year battle with cancer. Born on January 5, 1958 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late James W. and Mabel J. (Shubert)Reasinger. On August 30, 1986, he married his wife of 34 years, Alison G. (Adamson) Reasinger. She survives. Brian was a veteran of the United States Airforce. After his service to our country, he graduated from Triangle Tech in Falls Creek, PA. Brian retired in September of 2020 after 25 years as a machinist at Choice Precision Machine Inc. in Whitehall, PA. He was Lutheran by faith. One of his biggest joys was spending every holiday with his nieces, Daisey and Dawn Marie as well as all of their children and families. Brian is survived by his siblings (Dennis Reasinger and his wife, Doreen of Damascus, MD; Kevin Reasinger and his wife, Karen of DuBois, PA; and Charles Reasinger and his wife, Andrea of Blacksburg, SC), 9 nieces, one nephew, as well as 17 great nieces and nephews, and his dog Barley. Born on April 7, 1944 in Los Angeles, CA, he was the son of the late Dorothy S. (Logan) Deters. On October 28, 1967 he married Rosemary (Swackhammer) Staley. She preceded him in death on May 2, 2020 David was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served in the Vietnam War. He had worked in mobile maintenance for Penelec.   25. Gary A. Peterson, Age 82 of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on August 20, 1938 in Weld County, Colorado he was the son of the late Alden Peterson and Virginia (Fletter) Conley. On March 25, 1962, he married Jeanne (Henneforth) Peterson. She preceded him in death in 2018. Gary retired from General Motors in Van Nuis, California after 32 years of service as an assembly worker. He is survived by his daughter (Kimberly Robertson and her husband Don of DuBois, PA) and his 2 grandchildren (Rayanna & Ryan).
