  1. Rosemary M. Staley, age 77 of Sykesville, PA died Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on August 1, 1942 in Punxsutawney, PA, she was the daughter of the late Merlin L. and Dorothy (Cochran) Swackhammer. On October 28, 1967 she married her husband David M. Staley. He survives. Rosemary was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church in DuBois, PA. She is survived by 1 daughter (Kim Staley Clark) and her fiancé (Jason Shaffer) of DuBois, PA four grandchildren (Candace Irwin Bowers, Jasmine & Mackena Staley and Amanda Shaffer), 8 great grandchildren, 3 sisters; (Irene Swackhammer of Pittsburgh, PA, Diane Shrider of St. Marys, PA and Deb Swackhammer of Brockway, PA), and 1 brother; (Jim Cochran & his wife Cheryl of Pittsburgh, PA).   2. Eleanor M. Pringle, age 77 of Falls Creek, PA, died Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on March 12, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Eleanor (Grogan) Ramsey. She was married to Ronald L. Pringle and they celebrated of over 50 years of marriage. He survives. Eleanor worked at Sears in DuBois for 15 years. She and her husband did everything together and most of all enjoyed being with their family. Eleanor is survived by her children; (Kevin Pringle of DuBois, PA, Dennis Pringle & his wife Chris and Christine Alanskas & her husband J.R. all of Falls Creek, PA), 1 sister (Maureen Faett of Butler, PA ) 1 brother (Charley Ramsey of Florida), 4 grandchildren; (Chelsey Horn, Austin Pringle and Brandon & Mariah Alanskas) and 1 great grandchild (Carter Horn). Born on October 5, 1994 in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of Timothy Vionito of Brunswick, NJ and Jean Ann Hicks Vionito of DuBois, PA. She was a DuBois Area High School graduate, Class of 2013. Jennifer is survived by 2 sons; (Levi A. Kimberling and Dominick G. Vionito), 2 brothers; (Andrew McConnell of East Windsor, NJ and Joseph Vionito of Apex, NC), her paternal grandparents and maternal grandmother. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather.   4. Allen R. Muth, age 76 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, April 30, 2020 at his home. Born on November 12, 1943 in Luthersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Oscar T. and Ruth E. (Hartzfeld) Muth. He was a graduate of DuBois Area High School, class of 1963. On August 8, 1964 he married Mary Jane (Reasinger) Muth. She survives. Allen was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam era. He retired from the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 354 in Latrobe, PA. He was a member of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in DuBois, the Polish Citizen Club and the Olympic Athletic Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and most importantly, spending time with his family. Allen is survived by his children; (Teddylynn A. Hoover & her husband Dr. Mark Hoover of Penfield, PA and Wray A. Muth & his wife Jamie of DuBois, PA), grandchildren; (Mark A. Hoover & his wife Angela, Katie L. Greenthaner & her husband Christopher and Abbie & Owen Muth) and 1 great grandson (Elliot Greenthaner).   5. Lillian M. London, age 80 of DuBois, PA died Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at her home. Born on June 17, 1939, in Ridgway, PA, she was the daughter of the late James Harold and Marjorie (Scott) Cribbs. On September 24, 1958, she married her husband Clifford “Jay” London. He survives. Lillian was a member of the First United Methodist Church in DuBois. She enjoyed sewing, planting flowers and bird watching. Above all, she loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children; (Rebecca A. Dotts & her husband Thomas of Clearfield, PA and Kevin London of Indiana, PA), 5 grandchildren; (Hannah Dotts and Emily Ting and Curtis, Isaac and Olivia London) and 1 great grandchild (Lilliana Ting).   6. Mildred L. Dillingham, age 89, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at the Oak Leaf Manor South Nursing Home in Millersville, PA. She was born in Rockton, PA on January 7, 1931, the daughter of the late Lester and Leona (Kirk) Spicher. She graduated from DuBois High School, Class of 1948. She married Donald Gelnett on February 22, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1965. She later married William A. “Bert” Dillingham in 1970 and moved to the Lancaster area. Her husband survives. “Millie” as she was known to family and friends, worked at Cameron in Reynoldsville and B.F. Goodrich in DuBois. She later retired from Automatic Timing and Control Company of Lancaster, PA. She liked working in her flower beds, traveling and especially spending time with her family and friends. She is also survived by her daughter Colleen Overturf-Snyder of Penfield, PA, her son, Donald Gelnett & his wife Peggy of Bowmansville, PA, her step-daughter Denise Dillingham of Denver, PA, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by her siblings; Carol Brubaker & her husband Ed, Mary Lou Miller & her husband Robert, Marilyn Sayers, Kenneth Spicher & his wife Ginny and Allen Spicher all of the DuBois area. She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Petersheim, granddaughters Jennifer Overturf Pittsley and Christina Gelnett, a sister Miriam Kirk and brothers Donald, Raymond and Robert Spicher.   7. Janet Marie Hoskavich, age 70 of DuBois, PA died Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on February 4, 1950 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of Harry “Gitch” Hoskavich and Dorothy (Baloniak) Hoskavich Navarra. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives and lives in DuBois, PA. Janet retired from Riverside Bi-Lo on Main Street in DuBois, PA after many years of service. She was a member of Tri County Church where she was always active in church affairs. She loved her community and going for neighborhood walks, stopping to talk with people along the way. Above all, Janet was devoted to God, her family and friends. Janet is survived by 1 daughter (Aimee Colberg & her husband Kurt of DuBois, PA), 1 brother (Gary Hoskavich & his wife Liz of DuBois, PA), 2 sisters; (Linda Beer & her husband Bill of Greensburg, PA and Theresa Stoey of DuBois, PA), 4 grandchildren; (Abigail, Timothy, Ira & Elise), 2 aunts and numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter (Carrie Lynn Graham) and her stepfather (P.J. Navarra). There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.   8. Victor E. “Gene” Samanka, age 69 of DuBois, PA died Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA due to complications from lymphoma and a stroke. Born on March 25, 1951 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Victor Eugene and Josephine (Anasti) Samanka. He was a 1969 graduate of DuBois Central Catholic and a 1973 graduate of Clarion University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Studies. He also earned a master’s degree from Webster University and a second master’s degree from George Washington University. On August 18, 1973 he married Doris “Dori” (Fledderman) Samanka. She survives. Gene was a veteran of the United States Army for over 23 years. He began his career as a Private First Class and retired as the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. During his illustrious career he served in the Persian Gulf War earning a Bronze Star and was stationed in Germany twice, Ft. Bragg in the 82nd Airborne and the Pentagon. After retiring from the military, he worked as a field agent for Northwest Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center, Inc. and was the Guidance Counselor at DuBois Central Catholic as well as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Butler Community College. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church where he served a parish council president, a life member of James J. Patterson Post 813 Veterans of Foreign Wars and George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #519, the Disabled Veterans of America and served as a member of the DuBois Area Honor Guard. Gene is survived by his children; (Tracy Samanka Sergent & her husband Charlie of Charlotte, NC and Kelley Samanka & her husband Craig Sobeski of Brooklyn, NY), 1 sister (Joanna Crawford & her husband Robert of DuBois, PA) and 2 brothers; (John Samanka & his wife Pam of DuBois, PA and Joseph Samanka & his wife Jen of White Hall, PA) and 1 grandson (Nikolas “Nico” Sobeski). He was preceded in death by 1 nephew (Andrew Crawford). Due to our current circumstances, a private family visitation will be held at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.   9. David Lyle Manning, age 73 of Driftwood, PA died Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on June 16, 1946, in St. Marys, PA, he was the son of the late Lyle and Mary Jane (Benton) Manning. On July 19, 1999 he married Martha “Marcy” (Gerg) Manning. She survives. Dave had worked as a union carpenter with the Ohio Carpenter’s Local Union #435. He was an avid hunter & fisherman. He also enjoyed restoring antique vehicles. Dave was the kind of guy that would do anything for anyone. He is survived by his children; (David Manning & his wife Renee, Shannon McVay & her husband Jake, Jason Smith & his wife Connie, Joshua Smith & his wife Kristen and Heather Smith & her fiancé Charles Hunter), 11 grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He was preceded in death by 1 sister. There will be no public visitation and a funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Born on September 5, 1932, in Somerset, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul Franklin Kieffer, Sr. and Freda Brown Michaels Kieffer. She was a carpenter at Babcock Lumber Company in St. Marys, PA for many years. Mary Louise is survived by 2 daughters;(Vonda Lee Geci Morris & her husband Jay of Hampton, VA and Christine Geci Mottern & her husband Lee of DuBois, PA), 4 grandchildren; (Allisha Morris Haines & Zachary Morris and Michael & Danielle Mottern), 3 great grandchildren; (Dakota Leigh Haines, Tanner Mason Haines & Nathaniel Ray Morris), 2 brothers; (James C. Kieffer & his wife Myra of Woodbridge, VA and D. Bruce Kieffer of Spotsylvania, VA), 1 niece (Gale Lynn Kieffer) and 2 nephews; (Jamie & Bruce Kieffer). She was preceded in death by 1 brother (Paul Franklin Kieffer, Jr. and his wife Vonda Lancaster Kieffer) and 1 nephew (Paul Franklin Kieffer III). There will be no public visitation.   11. Mildred H. Miller, age 94 of DuBois, PA, died Wednesday, April 22, 2020. Born on November 8, 1925, in Helvetia, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Gomola) Kopnitsky. Mildred was a 1943 graduate of Brady High School and the valedictorian of her class. On November 19, 1946 she married James Miller. He preceded her in death in 1974. Mildred was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Our Saviour in DuBois, PA and the Episcopal Church Women. She enjoyed her family, cooking and baking, reading, especially the works of Charles Dickens, and the family dogs. She is survived by 1 son (James Miller of Curwensville, PA) and 1 daughter (Mary Jane Miller of DuBois, PA). She is also survived by a sister (Mary Anasti of Erie, PA) and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters;( Martha Boyle, Irene Shugarts, Dorothy Kephart and Elsie Tssario).   12. Dorothy Jean McCauslin, age 88, a lifelong resident of DuBois, PA until 2017, died Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Brookdale Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC. Born on October 15, 1931 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph “Boots” and Cleora (Hand) Schalk. Dorothy was a 1949 graduate of Sandy High School. On June 10, 1951 she married her husband of 58 years John Raymond McCauslin. He preceded her in death in 2010. She had worked at Deposit Bank as a loan officer for 25 years. She was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church and enjoyed going to the YMCA. Dorothy is survived by 1 son (Jeff McCauslin & his wife Janet of Raleigh, NC), 1 daughter (Linda McCauslin of Richmond, VA), 2 grandchildren; (John McCauslin and Sarah Newbold), 4 great grandchildren; (Rose, Claire, Nora & Jack), 1 nephew (Robert McCauslin of York, PA), 2 nieces; (Sandra McCauslin of York, PA and Diana Bump of The Villages, FL). She was preceded in death by 2 sisters; (Ella & Betty).   13. Ronald Francis Schuster, age 92, passed away the morning of Sunday April 19,2020 in Wellington, Florida. He was born in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania on March 20, 1928. He served in the United States Navy during WWII, and then completed his college education at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While moving his beloved family to Massachusetts, he established The October Company in Easthampton, Massachusetts, and was involved in many service clubs, while also assisting in the architectural design of a local high school. He also was part owner of a local golf course. After having managed The October Company for over 30 years he retired to Jupiter, Florida, where he was an active member of the Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida. For many years, he also summered at the White Cliff Country Club in Plymouth Massachusetts. He passionately enjoyed playing golf, as well as spending time with his family. He is survived by his four daughters, Rona Elizabeth von Mering of New of Pine Bush NY, Lea Frances Foti of Billerica Massachusetts, Beth Lea Williams of Wellington Florida and Resa Mae Ike of Horseheads NY. He is preceded by his father, Francis Schuster and his mother, Theresa Mereider Schuster. He was a dedicated father and grandfather and he will be missed by all.   14. Virginia A. Owens, age 98 of DuBois, PA died Friday, April 17, 2020 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on August 11, 1921 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Aileen (Youngren) Bechtel. On July 4, 1941 she married Vaughn R. Owens at St. Paul Lutheran Church in DuBois, PA. He preceded her in death on December 4, 2017. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for 10 years, and was an usher for 50 years. She delivered meals on wheels with her husband for many years. Virginia was a charter member of T.O.P.S. Clubs for 42 years, and a charter member of the J.E. DuBois Hose Company Auxiliary. Virginia is survived by 3 sons; (Denny Owens & his wife Judy of DuBois, PA, Deb Owens & his wife Barbara of Land O’ Lakes, FL and Steve Owens of Lewes, DE), 4 grandchildren; (Doug, Greg & Justin Owens and Darla Johnston) and 4 great grandchildren;(Allison & Kyle Johnston and Xavier & Kyuss Owens). She was preceded in death by 1 brother (James Bechtel). There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date from Christ Lutheran Church, DuBois, PA.   15. Rose M. Felix, age 87 of DuBois, PA died Sunday, April 12, 2020 at her home. Born on May 12, 1932, in Kramer, PA, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Italia (Petrolati) Torretti. On June 29, 1957 she married her husband Patrick J. Felix, Jr. He preceded her in death on January 30, 2009. Rose was a 1950 graduate of Sykesville High School and a 1955 graduate of Pennsylvania State University. She retired after 24 years as a supervisor for Jefferson County Children and Youth Services. Rose was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church for over 50 years where she attended daily mass and was actively involved in assisting the catholic community at both St. Bernards and St. Michael the Archangel. She was an active volunteer in all the local Catholic churches, such as preparing food for funeral masses, church dinners and working the annual festivals. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America (CD of A), the Rosary Society and the Blue Army. She instilled in her children a love of the church and of learning. Rose is survived by 3 sons; (Patrick J. Felix III, Esq. & his wife Dana of Carnegie, PA, Dr. Michael D. Felix & his wife Mary of Sewickley, PA, David G. Felix & his wife Chris of Reynoldsville, PA), 2 daughters; (Lisa Felix Bernardi of Carnegie, PA and Melissa Felix Green & her husband Rick of DuBois, PA), 11 grandchildren; (Alana & Domenique Felix, Daniel, Monica & Mikaela Felix, Nicholas & Natalie Felix, Italia & Domenico Bernardi and Andrew & Elizabeth Green) and numerous loving nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and her many devoted friends. She is preceded in death by 4 brothers;( Gino, Aldo, Querino & Sandy Torretti) and a sister (Mary Cherban).   16. Daniel P. Engle, Jr. age 33 of Reynoldsville, PA died Sunday, April 12, 2020 at his home. Born on November 27, 1986 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of Daniel P. Engle, Sr. and Janet L. (Wallwork) Torrell. He worked at Main Street Pizza and previous to that he had worked as a server at Red Lobster.   17. Waide N. Rishel, Jr. age 80 of DuBois, PA died Sunday, April 12, 2020 at his home. Born on December 20, 1939 in Sharon, PA, he was the son of the late Waide N. Rishel, Sr. and Jane (Keel) Rishel. He was married to Karin R. (Daumann) Rishel. She survives. Waide was a 1962 graduate of West Point Military Academy and a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. He was an engineer for the Brockway Glass Company for many years. He was one of the founding and longtime members of the All Seasons Trap and Ski Club, the National Rifle Association and the Gateway Friends of the National Rifle Association.   18. Anna Belle (Snyder) Bryan, age 90 formerly of Falls Creek and DuBois, PA died Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Highland View Healthcare in Brockway, PA. Born on March 3, 1930, in Gipsy, PA, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Lottie (Fry) Beck. On November 28, 1970 she married her husband John O. Bryan, he preceded her in death on January 21, 1987. Anna had worked at various jobs over the years. She was a member of the Rathmel Baptist Church. Anna is survived by two daughters; (Susan E. Snell and her husband Gary of Falls Creek, PA and Kathleen D. DuBeck of Orlando, FL), 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 11 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter (Karen Brubaker), 6 sisters; (Genevieve Gensib, Lula Mae Senior, Mildred Orr, Carmen Dutton, Mary Evelyn Hadden and Florence Lewis), 3 brothers; (Wallace Beck, Jr., Eugene Beck & Warren Beck) and 1 granddaughter (Carrie Salada).   19. David Michael Rieg died at his home in Baxter, Pa., following an accident while working on his tractor. He was 58. Born March 28, 1962, to John and Cloyann (née Freas) Rieg in DuBois, Pa., he was a longtime resident of Sykesville, Pa. He was an electrician by trade who graduated from Jefferson County-DuBois Area Vocational Technical School in 1980. He worked at Ideal Products, Inc., until 1991. For the last three decades, he worked as a professional truck driver, working 20 years for Penn Traffic and most recently for DiLullo Transport. Committed to his friends, family and community, he served as a firefighter with the Sykesville Volunteer Fire Department, where he was a life member. As a first responder and ambulance driver for Sykesville Station 80, he met his life partner, Lisa Witherite-Rieg, D.O., in 1987. He has supported her ever since. Dave could fix, engineer, construct, create, grow or adapt just about anything. He was enthusiastic and quick to help his family, friends, neighbors and even complete strangers. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was an excellent cook. As a 40-year member of the Clover Ridge Lodge in Clearfield County, he bonded with his stepfather, Walter Hurd; brother, John; and many longtime friends respecting and reclaiming nature’s beauty. Dave prayed daily, read scripture, and revealed God’s love in his caring for others. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Stephanie Georgek; and stepbrothers, Richy and Wally Hurd. In addition to his stepfather and brother, he is survived by his wife of 26 years, Lisa; son, James Witherite; daughter-in-law, Lauren; granddaughters, Sara and Ashley "A Little Bit"; brother-in-law, Mark Georgek; stepbrothers, Rick (Jill) and Randy Hurd; stepsisters Patty Hurd and Wendy (Doug) Depp; an army of nieces and nephews; and the best circle of friends and brothers a man could ever want.   20. Margaret Rose (Davis) Leitel, 84, died March 25, 2020. Margaret was born on April 5, 1935, in Beckley, WV to William Isaac and Elvira (Gunter) Davis. Margaret graduated from Woodrow Wilson Senior High School in Beckley in 1953 and worked for C&P Telephone (later Verizon) for 34 years. Margaret's beloved daughter Jenna Lee Davis was born in 1960. Margaret later married Jenna's father, Dr. Harold L. Leitel, and moved to DuBois, PA, where she lived the rest of her life. Margaret is survived by her grandson, Joseph Davis-Diehl, and her great-grandson, Jack Diehl. Margaret is also survived by Harold's children: Brentleigh Bowen, Kim Leitel, Aaron Leitel, John Leitel and Gretchen Valentin. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold, her daughter Jenna, and her parents and siblings. Burial was in Beckley, WV. Born on February 22, 1938 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late R.V. and Mary Janice White Siverling. After her mother's death at a young age, she was raised by her step-mother Mary Anna Moore Siverling. Marty was a homemaker. She loved crocheting, was very outgoing and could hold a conversation with anyone.   23. Bessie A. Zmitravich, age 53, of DuBois, PA died Thursday, March 26, 2020 at her home. Born on May 13, 1966 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth H. and Yoshi S. (Shimoji) Malone. On March 20, 1987, she married her husband of 33 years, James U. Zmitravich. He survives. Bessie was a 1984 graduate of the Punxsutawney High School and was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. She was a legal assistant at the law firm of Gleason, Cherry, & Cherry LLP for over 30 years. Bessie was a member of the Treasure Lake Church, was a volunteer at the DuBois Nursing Home and was a frequent Red Cross donor. She enjoyed exercising, riding motor cycles and going to concerts. She especially loved the Eagles. Above all, she loved being with her family and friends.   24. Theresa L. "Terry" Dodd, age 87 of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on June 25, 1932, in Selinsgrove, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harper B. and Irene L. (Fasold) Dodd. Terry had worked for Goodwill Industries back in the 1980's. She loved to ride her bike around DuBois and loved her dogs that would ride in the basket on the front of her bike. She loved to have pets, but her dogs were her true love. She also enjoyed Sheetz coffee and sweets, music, and as a child, played clarinet and accordion. She loved talking to friends. Terry is survived by 1 brother (Jack F. Dodd), 1 niece (Darlene Aaron), and 1 nephew (Jason Dodd). She was preceded in death by 1 sister (Vivian (Dodd) Henly. There will be no public visitation. Virginia "Gina" or "Ginny" D (Challingsworth) Crawford, 89 of Glencoe, Alabama, formerly Penfield, PA passed away peacefully at home with her family on Friday, March 20, 2020 after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 22, 1930 in Mill Run, Clearfield County, PA to the late Lois E Challingsworth. Virginia was married to Dale E Crawford on October 5, 1949, he preceded her in death on January 11, 2001. Virginia was a graduate of the Huston Township High School Class of 1949, where she played on the basketball team, the Huston Township Trojans. During her life, she worked as a mail carrier in Penfield, PA, at Sylvania in St. Mary's, PA and as a bartender at the Penfield Volunteer Fireman's Club. She a member of the Penfield United Methodist Church and President of the Penfield United Methodist Church Women's Group, a member of the Penfield Fireman's Women's Auxiliary. She loved watching baseball, football and NASCAR, she cheered proudly for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, Penn State and Alabama. In her early and adventurous years, she impressively raced Powder Puff in support of her husband, and brother-in-law's stock car racing at the DuBois Speedway. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed coloring, doing word search puzzles, and spending time with her family. She spent the later years of her life in Alabama, but loved talking to and hearing from her friends and family back home and would respond to them with cards covered in stickers. Virginia will be remembered for her loving heart, perfect pizzelles, sense of humor, storytelling and the love that she had for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by a son, Dennis "Denny" Crawford of DuBois, PA Ella Crawford of Penfield and two daughters, Lois A (Joseph) Potempa of Penfield, PA and Joy S (Jeffrey) Weichman of Glencoe, Alabama. Eight grandchildren, Joseph (Lauren) Potempa of Oahu, HI, Danielle (Jay) Bojalad of Penfield, PA, Alisha M Potempa of Fort Washington, MD, Joshua (Lane) Weichman of Springville, AL, Taylor (John) Chelednik, of DuBois, PA, Trey (Sarah) Weichman of Trussville, AL, Dale (Molly) Crawford of Pittsburgh, PA, Jena L Weichman of Glencoe, AL, as well as her six great-grandchildren, Braylon Bojalad, Carmen, Lucy and Callie Weichman, Lucas and Logan Chelednik and numerous cousins. In addition to her mother and husband, she was also preceded in death by her infant great-granddaughter, Sophia Chelednik.
