  1. Manley D. Emmett, age 91 of DuBois, PA died Monday, April 22, 2019 at the DuBois Nursing Home. As per Mr. Emmett's wishes, there will be no visitation and services will be private. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
  2. Linda L. Heitzenrater, age 66, of DuBois, PA died Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on May 20, 1952 in Ridgway, PA she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Smith) Yonkie. On December 16,1972 she married Gary Heitzenrater. He survives. Linda was a homemaker and an active member of the First Baptist Church in DuBois, PA. She is survived by one daughter (Sherry Heitzenrater of DuBois, PA), two sons; (John Heitzenrater of Weedville, PA and Gary Heitzenrater II & his wife Katie of Clarksville, TN), two sisters; (Debbie Donachy & her husband Scott of Greensburg, PA, Karen Kalgren & her husband John of Brockport, PA), one brother (Don Yonkie & his wife Kim of Elgin, SC) and one grandson (Mason Morris of DuBois, PA). There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Montgomery officiating.   3. Theodore P. Palenski, Age 89, of Clearfield, PA, died Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on March 31, 1930 in Force, PA, he was the son of the late John and Josephine (Zbikowski) Palenski. On June 9, 1972, he married Kathryn E. "Betsy" McClure Palenski. She survives. Ted was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean War. He was a graduate of the Bennetts Valley High School, received a Bachelor of Science degree from Clarion University, and a Masters of Education degree from the Pennsylvania State University. Ted began his teaching career as a mathematics teacher at the Kersey High School, which then joined with the St. Marys School District. He became the mathematics department chairperson at St. Marys until his retirement in 1989. He was a 50-year member of the American Legion Post 103 in St. Marys, a member of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees, and AARP. He was also a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Monica Reed of Washington, D.C. Ted was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters. There will be no public visitation. A Memorial Mass of Christian of Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 10 a.m. from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr Richard Siefer as celebrant.   4. Julia F. Aravich, age 95 of DuBois PA, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at her home. Born on June 10, 1923 in Brockway, PA, she was the daughter of the late Achelle and Carolina Marchiori. On August 13, 1949, she married her husband of 57 years, Joseph M. Aravich. He preceded her in death on June 2, 2009. Julia was a 1945 graduate of the Indiana School of Nursing with an RN degree. In nursing school, she was a Cadet Nurse during World War II. While in Indiana she was a second-floor supervisor at the Indiana Hospital. In DuBois, she worked private duty at the local hospitals, second floor at the DuBois Hospital, home health, and as a school nurse for the DuBois Area School District, and DuBois Area Catholic School. She was known as "grandma" to the students. She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Church in DuBois, PA. She is survived by two sons;(Thomas Aravich & his wife Brenda and Donald Aravich and his wife Karen) and one daughter (Carol Barber & her husband Larry) all of DuBois, PA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Julia was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by two brothers;(Valintino & Prospro Marchiori) and four sisters;(Alice Pinchock, Catherine Muth, Esther Aravich and Mary Pisarchick). Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A scriptural wake service will be held on Monday at 1:30 PM. The rosary will be prayed on Monday at 7:45PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 10 AM from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with Father Edward Walk as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.   5. Raymond L. Haag, age 84, formerly of Berry Road, Punxsutawney, PA died Monday, April 15, 2019 at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA. Born on September 6, 1934 in Stump Creek, PA, he was the son of the late Louis & Mary (Henry)Haag. He was a graduate of Sykesville High School, Class of 1952. Ray was a veteran of the United States Army. On June 24, 1967, he married Doris Frederick Haag. She preceded him in death on March 29, 2016. Ray was a skilled carpenter and master woodworker. He was employed by Busy Bee Builders and Rice Construction Company. He also had his own woodshop where he made beautiful handcrafted furniture and goods. He was a member of the Troutville Trinity United Church of Christ. He served the church as a consistory member. He also served on the building committee, helped build the church chancel and served on the board of Troutville Union Cemetery. He was a member of Brady Grange No. 1218. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, hunting and spending time with his family. Ray is survived by his son, (Jeffrey R. Haag of Newport News, VA) and his daughter, (Colleen R. Russell and her husband, Bradford of DuBois, PA) and three grandsons, (Brendan Haag and Wesley & Jonathan Russell). He was preceded in death by his brother (Harry Haag), sister in law (Dora Haag) and daughter in law (Amy Haag). Visitation will be held Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 4 -7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. and Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 10:00 -10:45 AM at the Troutville Trinity United Church of Christ. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM from the church with Pastor Audra Krise officiating. Full military honors will be accorded from the church by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard. Burial will be in Troutville Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery.   6. Deborah E. Onions, Age 72 of Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA, died Friday, April 12, 2019 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on March 12, 1947 in New Oxford, PA she was the daughter of the late Richard & Thelma (Lightner) Holtry. On February 3, 2005 she married David Onions. He survives. She retired from Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12 in Adams County after over 25 years of secretarial service. Deborah was a loving person who enjoyed taking care of her family, neighbors and friends. She is survived by two sons; (Richard A. Pope & his wife Cathy of Dover Township, PA and Dwayne E. Pope of Dillsburg, PA), four grandchildren; (Tiffany, Jennifer, Andrew & Emily), five great grandchildren; (Aiden, Damien, Hunter, Isabella & Bently) and one sister (Drucinda Miller of Thompsonville, PA). There will be no public visitation. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.   7. William J. "Bill" Wisniewski, Sr. age 71, of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on April 2, 1948 in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of William and Joan (Cannizzaro) Wisniewski. His father preceded him in death. His mother survives and lives in Parma, OH. On March 27, 1976, he married his wife of 43 years, Donna J. (Lavelle) Wisniewski. She survives. Bill retired in May of 2006 as the Director of Operations & Sales for the Yellow Freight System in the Metro New York Tri State Area. He worked his entire 37-year career with Yellow Freight Systems. Bill was an avid golfer, hunter and bowler. He had previously served as President of the Treasure Lake Lions Club and ran the Over the Hill Gang at Treasure Lake. He is survived by one son (William J. Wisniewski, Jr. & his partner Beth of Meritt Island, FL), three daughters;(Kimberly Ann Marin of Plantation, FL, Tara Lynn Snellings & her husband Scott of Parsippany, NJ, Dayna Lynn Murphy & her husband James of Collegeville, PA), one brother (David A. Wisniewski of Mentor, OH), one sister(Carol Jo Wisniewski of North Ridgeville, OH) and nine grandchildren. Friends will be received on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 4 to 6 P.M.at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A private memorial service will be held.   8. Gwendolyn L. Turnbull , age 77, of Luthersburg, PA died Monday, April 8, 2019 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on March 10, 1942 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ronald F. and Mary Martha (Galentine) Swope. Her husband, Irwin Turnbull, preceded her in death. Gwen managed the Big Valley Poultry Farm in Luthersburg, PA for many years and spent many years as a private duty caretaker. She belonged to the Bible Fellowship Church where she was a member of the church choir. She enjoyed her flower garden and made beautiful arrangements from her harvest. She also enjoyed puzzles, mowing the lawn and riding her four-wheeler & snow mobile. She loved children, especially her nieces and nephews. Gwen is survived by four sisters; (Annabelle Brubaker & Eileen Swope, both of Luthersburg, PA and Mary Akins & Linda Kunselman, both of DuBois, PA). She is also survived by two step children and several step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother (Ronald Swope) and one son (James Russell). Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 5 - 8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.   9. Edward F. Donahue, age 66, of DuBois, PA died Friday, April 5, 2019 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on September 30, 1952 in DuBois,PA he was the son of the late Ross & Margaret (Pyne) Donahue. Ed retired from the Boot Hyde Out in DuBois after many years of service. He is survived by three children; (Troy Donahue & his wife Barb, Tracy Pernesky & her husband Matt, and Pete Erickson all of DuBois, PA), one brother (Ross Donahue of Houston, TX) and four grandchildren; (Coy & Kayla Donahue and Madison & Haley Pernesky). He was preceded in death by one brother (Rex Donahue) and one sister (Linda Hallowell). As per Ed's wishes there will be no public visitation.   10. Peggy J. Beckwith, Age 64 of Soldier, PA died Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at her home. Born on November 21, 1954 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert & Emma Jane (Smith) Town. On May 21, 1995 she married Gene R. Beckwith. He survives. Peggy retired from the Jefferson County Department of Public Welfare after 34 years of service as a caseworker. She is survived by one daughter (Andrea Greenland & her husband Ryan of Clearfield, PA), three stepchildren; (Todd Beckwith of Meadville, PA, Mark Beckwith and his wife Carrie of Burlington, NC and Sheila Thompson of Franklin, PA) one sister (Mary Jane Haag of Troutville, PA) two grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister (Beverly Truesdale). Visitation will be held Friday, April 5, 2019 from 4:00 - 6:30 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A memorial service will immediately follow at 6:30PM from the funeral home with Pastor David Nagele officiating.   11. William S. Scott, Age 86 of Brockway, PA died Monday, April 1, 2019 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on June 26, 1932 in Emeigh Run, PA, he was the son of the late Ricardo & Virginia (Pirazzi) Scott. On July 16, 1960, he married his wife of 59 years, Antoinette "Toni" (Gray) Scott. She survives. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War as a paratrooper with the 11 Airborne Division. Bill retired from State Farm Insurance as a claims adjuster after 20 years of service. Previous to that, he was a high school teacher and football coach for both the Purchase Line & Grove City Schools Districts. Bill was a life long learner. He was a member of the last graduating class of the Cherry Tree High School in 1950. He was a graduate of the Indiana Teachers College (IUP) and attended the Lebanon Valley College, St. Francis University, North Texas State University, and the University of Iowa. Bill was not only a coach in football, but also in life. He encouraged many local football players to continue their careers at the next level. Many of his players went on to play at Division I programs such as Michigan State, the University of Cincinnati, the University of Virginia and the University of Central Florida, as well as many other Division II & III programs. Bill was also an avid writer, publishing four books about small-town life. he lived by the philosophy "Be yourself and do the little things right each day." He is survived by 2 children (Beth Taylor & her husband Joe of Brockway, PA and Dan Scott & his wife Molly of New Albany, OH) 4 grandchildren (Matt Taylor & his wife Amber, Kirsten Taylor, and AJ & Natalie Scott), 1 great grandchild (Remy Taylor), and 2 sisters (Mary Kernan & her husband Frank and Peggy Vail, both of Elgin, SC). He was preceded in death by 5 brother and 1 sister. As per Bill's wishes, there will be no public visitation. An open house celebration of life service will be announced in the near future.   12. Mary E. Battitori, Age 95 of Harmor Street, DuBois, PA died Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on October 31, 1923 in Brockway, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Elizabeth (Penvose) Carlson. She was married to Joseph Suplizio who preceded her in death in 1957, she then married Alfred "Butch" Battitori. He preceded her in death in 2003. She retired in 1986 from the DuBois Area School District Maintenance Department. Mary was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church and the Friendship Hose Company #2 Ladies Auxilliary. She is survived by one son (Vincent Suplizio & his wife Linda of Rochester, NY), two daughters;( Mary Margaret Causgrove of Cleveland, OH and Rose Koch & her husband Martin of Ridgway, PA) one brother (James Carlson of Perry, OH), ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son (Joseph E. Suplizio), three brothers;(George, Wally & Edward Carlson), four sisters; (Betty Keller, Emma Jean Lewis, Erma King & Mildred Whitmore) a grandson (Kenneth Causgrove) and granddaughter (Jacquline Weinstein). Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM.at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.   13. Marlene Fletcher, Age 73 of DuBois, PA died Friday, March 29, 2019 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on April 7, 1945 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Reasinger, Sr. and Etha (Guiher) Reasinger. On February 14, 1970 she married George E. "Bucky" Fletcher. he preceded her in death on December 18, 2008. Marlene was a homemaker and had worked at The Brockway Glass Company and Frank's Pizza. Marlene's life was her family. She was happiest when she was with her children, her brothers and sisters and their families, and especially her granddaughter Brielle. Marlene is survived by a son (Chad E. Fletcher of DuBois, PA); a daughter (Melissa B. Noroski and her husband Joseph of Luthersburg, PA); a granddaughter (Brielle Noroski); 3 sisters (Marilyn Ross & her husband Michael of Brockport, PA; Karen Shobert & her husband David of DuBois, PA; and Diane Dandoy & her husband Larry of Kersey, PA); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers (Duane, William, Jr., and Richard "Dick" Reasinger), a sister (Linda Shaffer) and an infant sister (Cheryl Reasinger). Visitation will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019 from 2-4 &6-8 p.m. from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.   14. Josephine Zbieg Age 93, of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at her home. Born on February 4, 1926, in DuBois, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Karoline (Kruk) Polohonki. On September 1, 1951 she married Stanley M. Zbieg. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2008. Josephine was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael The Archangel Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Infant of Prague Society and a member of the St. Michael Senior Choir. She was a member of the Polish Folk Singers, the Pulaski Ladies Auxiliary, enjoyed sewing and knitting and was an avid bingo player. She was active with her card club group and enjoyed traveling and following the Pittsburgh Pirates. She is survived by two sons; (Joseph G. Zbieg of DuBois, PA and Randall M. Zbieg & his wife Susan of Warrenton, VA), one daughter (Laurie J. Zbieg of Erie, PA), two grandchildren, (Jarrod Zbieg and Lauren Davis & her husband Jordan) and two great grandchildren (Rose & Virginia Davis). She was preceded in death by a brother (Myron Polohonki) and three sisters (Helen Cheslock, Olga Pastwa and Mary Lepionka). Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 1 - 4 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. The Rosary will be prayed on Sunday at 12:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 10 AM from St. Michael The Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.   15. Donna L. Hilliard, Age 89 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born on December 15, 1929 in Smithtown, Jefferson County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul & Esther (Jones) Smith. On August 8, 1946 she married Joseph J. Hilliard. He preceded her in death in November of 1993. Donna had worked at the Brockway Glass Company, then the Jackson China Company until its closing. She was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in DuBois where she volunteered her time visiting the sick and homebound. She enjoyed gardening and served as the secretary for the former Beechwoods Saddle Club.   16. James E. Carcella, age 90 of DuBois, PA went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 22, 2019, at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital surrounded by his loving children. Born on November 16, 1928 in Rossiter, PA, he was the son of the late Elmer & Mary Ann (Pitzrell) Carcella. On August 12, 1950, he married Josephine (Laukitis) Carcella. She preceded him in death on December 10, 1988. Jim was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps and the United States Airforce during World War II. Jim, although not a scholar, knew how to run a profitable business. Jim was glazier by trade and ownerd his own business in DuBois, Jim's Glass Shop, after working for PPG, Pittsburgh Plate Glass, for years. He also owned Punxsutawney Glass in 1979. From 1980 until 1982, Jim was the owner of J&J Auto in DuBois and sold used cars, going to car sales and auctions as a driver while still running his glass business. He fully retired in 1990 and his son, Michael, took over the glass business. Jim continued to help out in the shop running errands and keeping up with the business. Jim was a hard worker and his kids remember many nights sitting down to dinner with the doorbell ringing and someone needing a glass window replaced or just dropping off glass to be fixed. Jim would always go out to the shop to take care of them. Jim was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church since 1950. He was in the Knight of Columbus for many years and faithfully attended St. Catherine's Church for morning mass. He was also a member of the former Lithuanian Independence Club. Jim loved to travel and was a huge fan of NASCAR. He worked as the flagman at Clearfield Speedway form 1975 until 1976. He was part of the crew of the NASCAR # 83, which was Greg Heller's car from 1977 until 1978. Jim used to talk about how much he admired Dale Earnhardt, who he thought was one of the nicest drivers on the NASCAR Circuit. In his later years, Jim enjoyed the company of many friends as he ate lunch with them at the Parkside Community Center. He never missed a lunch if he could help it. Jim lived a long, full, enjoyable life and will be remembered by all his many friends and family. Jim was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his kids and treated them like treasures. Jim had a terrific memory and used to tell his kids all kinds of stories. He leaves his son (Michael Carcella & his wife Kim of Penfield, PA), his daughters (Roseann Dykstra & her husband Larry of Wake, VA; Pamela Price of Brookville, PA; Bunny Wilson & her husband Brad of DuBois, PA; and Felicia Steele of Falls Creek, PA), as well as 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his older brother (John Carcella) and sister (Mary Carcella Hurd.)   17. Tobie Richard McIntosh, Age 66, of DuBois, PA passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from a long and debilitating illness at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on May 2, 1952, he was the son of the late Kenneth & Mary (Murphy) McIntosh. Tobie was a graduate of DuBois Area High School and the University of Pittsburgh. He had been an employee of Penn Traffic, Riverside Division. Tobie had fond respect for this world and the people in it, living with extraordinary courage and gentleness. He is survived by his brother and his wife (Gary and Suzanne McIntosh, Niagara Falls, NY) and his three nieces and their husbands; (Stephanie & Josh Ryels of Niagara Falls, NY, Julie & John Burnett of Lewistown, NY, Jennifer & Michael Laessig, Jupiter, FL and their five children).   18. Ronald V. Young, Age 83 of DuBois, PA, died Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on January 21, 1936 in Randolph, NY, he was the son of the late Vernon E. and Myrle (Acker) Young. On December 30, 1967 he married his wife of 51 years, Nancy E. (Johnson) Young. She survives. Ronald retired as a truck driver for WalMart after 11 years of service. Previous to that he drove for Hammermill Paper Company in Erie, PA for many years. He was a member of the Penfield Free Methodist Church and worked as a volunteer at Lamb's Harvest Food Bank. He is survived by one son (David Allan Young and his wife Heather of Falconer, NY), grandson (Andrew Young of Falconer, NY) and granddaughter (Rebecca Beatty of Idaho Falls, ID). He was preceded in death by a daughter (Eva Marie Young), an infant son, and two brothers; (Gerald and John Young). There will be no public visitation.   19. Dane E. Lefler, Age 33 of Luthersburg, PA died Sunday, March 17, 2019 in Brady Township, Pennsylvania. Our son, Dane Lefler, is a sweet, gentle soul. He was an amazing child who grew into a strong man, overcoming seemingly insurmountable hurdles. Dane was often misunderstood and faced personal and social struggles for much of his adult life. He will always be remembered for his courage during difficult times. Although our hearts are broken, we celebrate Dane's life. Dane Eric Lefler was born on December 27, 1985. At nearly 10 pounds and a full head of hair, the first born son was a joy to his parents, and soon became the life-long pal of his beloved younger brother, Jordan Philip Lefler. Dane is survived by his mother, Lisa M. Myers; father, Henry Lefler and his fiancé, Adrienne Kohut; brother, Jordan Lefler and his fiancé, Vanessa Olivio; brothers Philip Myers and Kelly Myers; sister, Jenny Myers; long-time girlfriend, Shannon Krach and their faithful dog, Pip; beloved aunts, Marjorie Parks; Valerie Miceli and her husband, Matt Milliron; and Sherry Miceli; as well as numerous cousins. Dane was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Naomi Mitchell and Beaul Lefler and Paula Read; and his step-Dad, Kevin Myers. Dane graduated from the DuBois High School in 2004, where he first developed a fondness for football, having played on the school team. He was a huge Steelers fan. From an early age, Dane had a passion for cooking. In addition to preparing meals for family and friends, Dane was employed as a line cook at The Bobette restaurant, a job he cherished both for cooking and the friends he made there. Dane had an interest in science and engineering, focusing on how machinery and electronics operated. He was notorious for taking apart equipment to understand its workings. Dane loved nature and relished the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and collecting rocks and other items in which he saw the possibility of treasures. Dane's kindness extended to animals, and in addition to Pip, he was loved by pets, Pete and Murphy.   20. Todd Marshall, Age 60 of Evers Ave., St. Marys, PA died Saturday, March 16, 2019 at his home. Born on June 6, 1958 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Donald and Madeline (Meholick) Marshall. He was a 1976 graduate of the DuBois Area High School, and was a graduate of Penn State University with Degree in Business Administration. Todd was employed at Walmart in St. Marys. Previous to that, he was past owner-operator of the Sears Catalogue Store in Brookville, TCBY in DuBois and the GNC Store in St. Mary's. Todd is survived by a brother (Michael Marshall and his wife Grace of DuBois, PA); a sister;(Dawn Cekovsky & her husband Robert of Big Run, PA); numerous nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law (Debbie Marshall of DuBois, PA). Born on August 29, 1928 in Force, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. & Frances M. (Benevich) Klaiber. She was married to Renaldo Trentini. He preceded her in death on August 7, 1963. Germaine was a cook at DeSalves Truck Stop in Penfield and enjoyed playing Bingo and Skat.   23. Patrick F. Carr, Age 32, formerly of DuBois, PA, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at his home in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on July 11, 1986 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of Timothy Carr who survives and lives in Clearwater, Florida and Sharon (McWilliams) Carr who survives and lives in DuBois, PA. He worked at Fox's Pizza in Pittsburg. Patrick was a 2005 graduate of DuBois Area High School and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He also loved watching and participating in many sports and following all of the Pittsburgh sports teams. He is survived by two sisters; (Renee Mongold & her husband Steve of Chesapeake, VA and Alyssa Putnam & her husband Niles of Frederica, DE); two brothers (Brian Carr & his wife Brenda of Dallas, TX and Mark Carr of Pittsburgh); seven nieces and nephews (Ben, Kyle, Will & Josh Mongold; Dorian &Addy Putnam and Connor Carr). Born on March 1, 1981 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of John Duffalo, Jr. and Susan Jamison Koppenhaver. His father survives and lives in DuBois. His mother survives and lives in Troutville, PA. Michael made his home with Amanda Reed for 19 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a talented artist.   25. Joyce A. Shemuha, Age 81 of DuBois, PA, died Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on March 11, 1937 in Kersey, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mario & Armine (Radaelli) Contrini. On May 3, 1958, she married her husband of 52 years, David A. Shemuha. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2016. Joyce was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great grandchild. She also loved to bowl and play Bingo.
