On June 30, 2024 the family of Carlee Laine Thomas, age 39 of DuBois, Pennsylvania (formally of Locust Grove, Georgia) said their final farewell at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio after a courageous battle with Colon Cancer. She faced the unrelenting disease with dignity, grit and grace. Carlee was born August 11,1984 in DuBois, Pennsylvania to Blaine and Linda (Foeks) Clark. Her parents survive and live in DuBois, PA. Shortly after her birth the family moved to Locust Grove, Georgia where she was raised with her two sisters. She met and married her husband Randall Thomas November 22, 2003. Together, they had three children whom she adored, Lainey Grace, Walker Clark and Bronson Boyd Thomas. She is a 2002 graduate of Henry County High School, McDonough, Georgia. She held various job positions most of which were related to serving others, none were as satisfying as the role of Mother. Carlee was devoted to her family and an active participant in all her children’s many interests and activities. She was their biggest advocate and cheerleader. She excelled in anything crafty or creative. Carlee was passionate about cooking, photography, crafting, scrapbooking, sewing, couponing, journaling, and reading. She was a nurturer with a love of growing her organic garden and taking in all unloved or handicapped animals. Carlee loved family traditions such as cookouts and holiday decorations and loved clothes and jewelry. Leopard print was her favorite! She had the faith of a mustard seed often sharing her faith over good food and conversation. She delighted in teaching Sunday School in her backyard with the neighborhood children, treating each of them as her own. In addition to her husband, parents, and children, she is survived by her sisters Kiley Smith, Newnan GA and Blaine Olivia Futch and her husband Alan of Aragon, GA. She was adoringly known as Aunt Moe by her nephews and nieces Wyatt, Tanner, Ember and Levicy. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Darrell and Shirley Clark and her maternal grandparents Leland and Patricia Foeks. Carlee’s life was a living example of the Bible verse Proverbs 31:25 – “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future”. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. By Carlee’s request there will be a Celebration of Life Ceremony at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the DuBois Little League, P.O.
