Good morning. I’m so envious of you folks who are having wonderful skies…we have another grey one this morning. So….when you don’t have a pretty picture, you post the farm that’s just up the hill from my house, here in Wellsboro. It’s a pretty enough photo in color, but I think the black and white rendition really shows off why you chose black and white for a photo. One of our photo club members says you don’t just turn any photo black and white, you turn only those who have the prerequisites, black and white..….so here it is… in all its glory. Hope you enjoy! Have a good day! > Linda Stager > in Tioga County, Pennsylvania.

I take photos of this barn all the time. It sits on top of a mountain top where the light is often good. I take photos of it in the morning, at sunset, and in the middle of the night. I think I may have shown you a photo of it recently. Anyways, I liked the soft muted tones of this sunrise. And that tree!! Simply stated beauty. I thought you might like to see it. Ahhh…. > Linda Stager

This came up in my memories. 5 years ago my friend Tony Bruno and I were walking along in Sax Zim Bog in Minnesota looking for Great Gray Owls. Our friends had dropped us off to look for birds at another location. The temperature was a balmy 24 degrees below zero and we were walking to hopefully get warm so as to not freeze into a statue. We did find this Owl and at one point he flew right at us. He was close but not as close as this pic may make you think. The Great Gray has an amazing face. >> Tom Dorsey from Kersey
