fairedust
Does anyone have a natural cleaner to put in carpet steamers?
Guest Tracy96
I use laundry detergent in mine so you could just use a natural laundry detergent recipe. There is one posted in the forum somewhere. Be sure to test it on a small inexpensive rug to make sure it won't hurt your carpet.
Guest snellma
I'm not the best one to ask this question because I used just about everything I have. I do use the regular steam cleaner stuff you buy but I also add some bleach to the rinse water and some oxi clean or peroxide to the detergent. Probably not the best thing to do but it gets them so clean and smells so good.
lizzie
I have checked the interent for a recipe for my carpet scrubber and it was so confusing. Today I wanted to scrub my carpets and I am pleased with the results. I took 2/3 cup of my homemade laundry detergent, 1/3 cup white vinegar and 1 gallon hot water. Don't add the hot water to your detergent as it will make too many bubbles. Fill your container 3/4 full then add the detergent and rest of water.
