In Babcock State Park, W.V., a recreation of an old mill stands where once stood the original Stoney Creek Grist Mill, dating back to 1890. The basic structure of the new mill came from the original. 

 

 

America's history comes alive around the USA at these iconic, scenic mills. Though some have been turned into museums, restaurants or stores, many still work, and are a perfect glimpse into an era mostly left behind after the Industrial Revolution.
