Administrators Pompeii Posted July 9, 2017 Administrators Share Posted July 9, 2017 Zita M. Hinderliter, Age 89 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Penn Highlands DuBois. Born August 8, 1927 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the later Alvin "Frank" & Mary L. (McMahon) Hinderliter. Zita was a clerk at Hays Drug Company in DuBois for 30 years where she enjoyed her work. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, and enjoyed watching television, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates. She is survived by a sister (Claudia Lyle of Brockport, PA) a brother (Daniel "Boone" Hinderliter & his wife Carol of Brockway, PA), and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 sisters (Mary McManus, Margaret Harvey, Joanne Castiglione, & Barbara Roper) and a brother (Edward Hinderliter). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 3-6 p.m. from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A scriptural wake service will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 10 a.m. from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery.
