Muccio, Age 85 of Cherry Avenue, Weedville, PA passed peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2018 at her son’s home in Kersey, PA with her family by her side. Born on September 2, 1932 in Weedville, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Assalone) Facchine. She attended the Bradford School of Nursing where she earned her nursing degree. On June 26, 1954 at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Force, she married John S. Muccio. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2012. She was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Force and was an active volunteer at the Bennett’s Valley Senior Center. She was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted friend to many. Geraldine is survived by 3 sons: Joseph Muccio and his wife, Diana of St. Mary’s, PA, Richard “Rick” Muccio and his wife, Donna of Kersey, PA and Gary Muccio & his husband, Greg Myers of Carlisle, PA, 1 daughter, Maria Muccio of Harrisburg, PA, 4 grandchildren, Joseph Muccio, Anthony Muccio, Nicole Muccio and Kaylee Muccio and 4 great grandchildren, Alex, Marcus, Giuliana and Dominic She was preceded in death by a brother, John Facchine. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 10 AM from the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Force, PA with Fr. Mark Mastrian as celebrant. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery. Memorials may be placed with the Bennett’s Valley Senior Center, P.O. Box 77, Weedville, PA 15868 and/or St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, P.O.
