Tinder, Age 64 of Paradise Road, Punxsutawney, PA, died Friday, January 19, 2018 at the home of her daughter in DuBois, PA. Born on February 15, 1953 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Herbert & June (Limerick) Farrell. On March 12, 2004, she married Robert J. Tinder. He survives. Rose was a past member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and loved to craft & sew. She is survived by 2 children (Ronnette Pittsley & her husband Thomas of DuBois, PA, and Dawn Marie Stover & her husband Kyle of Galeton, PA). 4 sisters (Carol Long of Curwensville, PA; Jane (William) Huntington of Punxsutawney, PA; Norma (Dale) Yingling of Cooks Forest, PA; & Donna Lee (Tom) Richards of Summerville, PA) and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 2 brothers (Thomas & Herbert “Pete” Farrell). There will be no public visitation. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1 PM from the Big Run Volunteer Fire Department Hall.
