Wilson, Age 99, of Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA died on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Christ the King Manor, DuBois, PA. Born on July 11, 1918 in Brockton, MA she was the daughter of the late Ray and Edith (Hancock) Porter. She attended Simmons College for Women in Boston, MA. She was married to Herbert Straffin. He preceded her in death. She then married John C. Wilson. He preceded her in death as well. She retired as a civil service worker from the Defense Supply Agency in Philadelphia, PA. She was a member of the Treasure Lake Church and the Red Hat Society. She also volunteered as a library aid for many years. Florence is survived by a son, Mark Straffin and his wife Carol of DuBois, PA; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be placed with the Treasure Lake Church, 266 Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA 15801.
