Carrera, Age 75, of Brockway, PA died on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital. Born on March 25, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA he was the son of the late Willfred E. & Angela (Hervoyavich) Carrera. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Vietnam War. On January 10, 1986 he married Noreen J. (Beer) Carrera. She survives. He had worked at Brockway Glass for 27 years, in the maintenance department in both Freehold, NJ and Brockway, PA. He was well known for restoring classic cars and enjoyed traveling and the outdoors. Dennis is survived by 3 children: Dennis J. Carrera, Jr. & his wife Tiffany of Greenville, PA, Kimberly Ann Weiser & her husband Jim of Wheatland, PA and Tammy Lynn Miller of Fancy Gap, VA; a brother: Michael Carrera & his wife Cindy of Franklin, PA; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 12 PM from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor Harold Hill officiating. Memorials may be placed with the American Spinal Injury Association, 2020 Peachtree Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30309. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
