Administrators Pompeii Posted December 29, 2018 Administrators Share Posted December 29, 2018 Thomas R. Wray, Age 88 of DuBois Street, DuBois, PA died Thursday, December 27, 2018 at his home. Born on December 28,1929 in DuBois, PA he was the son of the late Harry and Edna (Roderick) Wray. Tom was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Army where he received a Purple Heart. On September 6, 1952, he married Dolores M. "Dolly" (Kaizer) Wray. She Preceded him in death on September 4, 2013. He retired as a Union Bricklayer after over forty years of service. Tom was an avid hunter and was well known for and enjoyed spending time on his front porch. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren's many sporting events. Tom is survived by two daughters (Lori Henry and her husband, John of DuBois, PA and Cheryl McMillen and her husband, Tim of Reynoldsville, PA); four grandchildren (Tommy McCutcheon, Erin Donahue, Amy Fox, and Chelsey Foradori); six great grandchildren (Coy & Cayla Donahue, Payton & Evan Fox and Jenella & Gilindo Foradori); Two brothers;(Earl Wray & his wife Virginia of DuBois, PA and William Wray of Hamburg, PA.) He was preceded in death by three brothers; (Melvin "Booby" Wray, Robert "Auckie" Wray and, Harry "Sooner" Wray) and three sisters; (Grace Wray, Virginia Nesbitt and Kathryn Matson.) Visitation will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. from the Baronick Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at 10 am at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating. Full military honors will be accorded from the funeral home by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard. Burial will be at Morningside Cemetery.
