Strosky, age 65 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on December 7, 1955 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph E. and Anna L. (Bradshaw) Strosky. On May 19, 1984 he married Janet (Durachko) Strosky. She survives. Ed retired as the owner & operator of Strosky’s Garage and Strosky’s Caps & Accessories after over 40 years of serving the DuBois community. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. Ed was an avid bowler and a member of the Allegheny Mountain USBC. Ed was proud to have bowled 300 games and 800 series. He was a member of the Beer Can Camp, enjoyed elk hunting in Colorado, fishing in Canada and smoking fine cigars. He also loved NASCAR and his yearly trip to the Daytona 500. He is survived by 1 brother (Thomas Strosky and his wife Ruth Ann of DuBois, PA) and 3 sisters; (Joanne Berger and her husband Bob of Charleston, TN, Denise Strosky and her companion Richard Gibson of Cleveland, TN and Debbie Gelnett and her husband Marc of Cleveland, TN). Ed is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. There will be no public visitation. A public Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 10 AM from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Social distancing requirements will be followed and masks are required. The mass will be livestreamed and can be viewed by going to https://www.facebook.com/duboisromancatholicchurches. Burial will take place in St. Catherine Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Keystone Elk Country Alliance, 134 Homestead Drive, Benezette, PA 15821.
