Administrators Pompeii Posted March 18, 2022 Administrators Share Posted March 18, 2022 Michael F. Lepionka, age 72 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, March 17, 2022 at his home. Born on August 25, 1949 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Floyd A. “Lolo” and Wanda L. (Bearfield) Lepionka. On September 25, 1971, he married Karen S. (Ross) Lepionka. She preceded him in death on November 18, 2018. Mike retired as District Manager of Paris Uniform Company after 24 years of service. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Pulaski Club and the Olympic Athletic Club. He loved baseball and was a well-known left-handed pitcher in the area for many years. He also enjoyed hunting and Penn State Wrestling. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and followed their many activities. Mike is survived by his children; Michelle Snyder & her husband Daniel, Danielle Rake & her husband Jason and Keith Lepionka & his wife Meggie, all of DuBois, PA, 9 grandchildren; Sarah & Allie Snyder, Hannah, Kyle, Justin & Katelynn Rake and Lizzie, Lainey & Lucas Lepionka. He was preceded in death by 1 sister; Stephanie Lepionka. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 4 PM – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 10 AM from St. Michael Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Michael Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to DuBois Little League, PO Box 71, DuBois, PA 15801.
