Administrators Pompeii Posted March 31, 2022 Administrators Share Posted March 31, 2022 Christopher P. Snyder, age 49 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on April 8, 1972 in Union City, PA, he was the son of Mary Lou Wolff Snyder of DuBois, PA and the late Phillip R. Snyder. Chris was previously employed as a counselor by Beacon Light Behavioral Health in Clearfield, PA. He had coached the girls and boys swim teams for many years at both the DuBois Area YMCA and the Warren Area YMCA. He was also active in drama and theater in both DuBois and Warren. Chris was also well known for baking and decorating cakes. Chris is survived by 2 sisters (Joleen Joiner & her husband Larry of Hazen, PA & Jeanette Petitti of DuBois, PA), 2 nieces (Aundrea Snyder & Gabby Snyder) 1 nephew (Devin Joiner) and 1 great niece (Layla Joiner). He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents (Helen & Clifford Snyder) and maternal grandparents (Miles & Shirley Wolff). Friends will be received on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 1 PM – 3 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
