Administrators Pompeii Posted April 8, 2022 Administrators Share Posted April 8, 2022 Richard “Dick” Kuntz, age 77 of DuBois, PA, died Thursday, April 7, 2022 at his residence. Born on July 7, 1944 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late John and Fayette (Shaffer) Kuntz. He was a graduate of the DuBois Area High School Class of 1962. On July 10, 1965 he married Nancy L. (Hand) Kuntz. She preceded him in death on September 25, 2019. Dick retired from Sensus Metering as a tool and die maker after over 40 years of service. He was a member of the Sabula United Methodist Church where he was active in church affairs. He enjoyed gardening and above all, he loved his time with his family. Dick is survived by two daughters (Colleen O’Harah & her husband Daniel of Reynoldsville, PA and Becky McClure & her husband Tom of Curwensville, PA), seven grandchildren (Jackie Kurten, Amanda & Greg Weber, Ashley Munoz, Emily DiIulio and Bryce & Zach McClure), three great grandchildren; (Stella & Geno Kurten and Isaac Munoz) and one great grandchild on the way. He was also preceded in death by one daughter (Missy Weber). Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 1 – 4 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 11 AM from the funeral home with Pastor Butch Brunner officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Sabula United Methodist Church, 259 Kilmer Road, DuBois, PA 15801.
