Munn, age 94 of DuBois, PA went into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 with her family by her side. Born on September 15, 1927 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Estella (Shaffer) Shaffer. On November 26, 1965, she married Albert E. Munn. He preceded her in death in 2001. Alice retired from Brockway Glass Company in September of 1989 after many years of service. Alice was a hard worker and giver. Her family was her world and she was with them every chance she had. She greatly enjoyed their visits. Alice was a baker and shared her baked goods whenever possible. She also enjoyed playing cards with her sisters and her friends. Alice is survived by her children (Sherry Volosky and her husband Joe of DuBois, PA, William W. Trude, II of Irvine, KY and David M. Trude of Bristol, TN), 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren), 4 sisters (Betty Bundy, Joyce Grant, Nina Simbeck and Carol Lyons and her husband Bill, all of DuBois, PA) and 1 brother (Clarence Shaffer also of DuBois, PA). Alice was preceded in death by 2 great grandchildren (Seth Gilbert and William Trude, III), 4 brothers (Forrest, Allen, Glenn and Harry Shaffer), and 2 sisters (Vera Kear and Iva Gelnett). As per Alice’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Burial will take place in Lakelawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the Sabula United Methodist Church, 259 Kilmer Road, DuBois, PA 15801 and/or the Gateway Humane Society, P.O. Box 678, Falls Creek, PA 15840.
