Shannon age 56, of Sykesville, PA died Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on June 5, 1966 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Willis “Bud” and Irene (Krach) Shannon. Collen was a homemaker and previous to that she had worked as a waitress at George’s in Reynoldsville, PA. She is survived by her two children (James Butson and his wife Emily of Eugene, LA and Jennifer Butson of Northern Cambria, PA), four grandchildren (Ally, Ayden, McKenzie and Autumn), one sister (Brenda Hendricks and her husband Ed of Rockton, PA) and one brother (Kevin Shannon and his wife Debbie of DuBois, PA). She was preceded in death by one brother (Kenny Shannon) and one nephew (Eric Witherite). Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 4 – 6 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 6 PM from the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.
