Administrators Pompeii Posted September 6, 2022 Administrators Share Posted September 6, 2022 Francis “Bert” Thomas, age 68 of DuBois, PA went to his heavenly home on Saturday September 3, 2022, surrounded by his wife, their dogs, children, and grandchildren. Born in DuBois, PA on March 4, 1954, he was the son of the late Clyde F. Thomas and Audrey T. Lyons Thomas. He graduated from DuBois Area High School Class of 1972 and began working in the automotive industry. He began working at Hughes-Starr in 1973 and C. Classic Dodge in Clearfield. He finished his career at Murray Ford in DuBois, retiring in 2018 after 45 years of automotive service. He married the love of his life, Robin (Miller) Thomas, on August 12, 2006 at Big Country Campground in Brookville where they both spent many happy years with family and friends! In addition to his wife, Bert is survived by their children Jodith Pahoundis of DuBois, PA, Cathe (Jeff) O’Harah of Reynoldsville, PA, Andrea (Donald) LaPolt of Kennesaw, GA, and Anthony Kregiel, Jr. & partner, Sandra Baka of Brockway, PA, his grandchildren (Andrew (Shealynn) O’Harah of Big Run, PA Michael Dillree of DuBois, PA, Cassidy LaPolt of Kennesaw, GA, Elizabeth LaPolt of Kennesaw, GA, Faith Pahoundis of DuBois, PA, Alexander O’Harah of Reynoldsville, PA, and Marcus Kregiel of Brockway, PA, one great-grandson Jaxson O’Harah of Big Run, PA, his sister Chris (Bill) Bush of DuBois,PA, sister in law Patty Thomas of DuBois, PA and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparents, brother, Rodger L. Thomas, brothers-in-law Leland D. Miller Jr. and Emmett Sheets. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 2-4 PM & 6 – 8PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 2 PM from the Brookville Church of God, 201 Freedom Lane, Brookville, PA, led by Pastor Henry Scoff.
