Patricia Ann Pape, age 90 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, September 8, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

 

Born on February 8, 1932 in Carrolltown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Julian and Grace (Wharton) Burley.

 

On May 12, 1956 in Punxsutawney, PA she married her husband of 66 years, Carmen A. Pape. He survives.

 

Pat retired from the JC Penney Catalog Department after 16 years of service.

 

She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church where she was also a member of the Altar Rosary Society, J.E. DuBois Hose Company # 3 Ladies Auxiliary, and the JC Penney Bowling League.

 

During her 26 years of retirement, Pat enjoyed taking cruises and spending the winter months in Florida.

 

Along with her husband, Pat is survived by her children (Debra Jiamachello and her husband Joseph of Broadview Heights, OH, Diane Zack and her husband James of Greensburg, PA, Darlene McFate and her husband Okie of St. Augustine, FL, Karen Haky and her husband Michael of Cranberry Township, PA and Rick Pape and his wife JoEllen of DuBois, PA), eleven grandchildren (Shannon, Matthew, Kacie, Lyndi, Isaac, Megan, Sarah, Ryan, Anthony, Corinne and Ashlynn), eight great grandchildren and one sister (Elizabeth Cotroneo of Kennesaw, GA).

 

Pat was preceded in death by two brothers (Robert and Paul Burley).

 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 10 a.m. from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.

 

Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery.

 

Memorial donations may be made to the DuBois Public Library Children’s Department, 31 South Brady Street, DuBois, PA 15801 and/or Penn Highlands Hospice, 100 Hospital Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801.
