Patricia Ann Pinchock, age 86 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Christ the King Manor.

Born on June 26, 1936 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Eliet and Edythe (Lavella) Penvose.

Patricia married Paul Thomas Pinchock on April 11, 1959.  They were married for 53 years until his death on May 10, 2012.

Patricia was a factory worker at Rola Jensen and ended her career as an executive secretary at Murphy Mart.

Patricia was a member of the American Legion Post 17 and served as President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the James J. Patterson Post 813 VFW where she enjoyed working in the kitchen for Friday night bingo.  She took great pride and never missed presenting wreaths at Morningside Cemetery to show her respect and appreciation to all of our veterans during the annual Memorial Day services.  She enjoyed golf, shooting pool, darts, playing cards and bowling; priding herself as a member of the 600 club.  She loved watching the Golden Girls, Jeopardy, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and all of the Christmas Movies on the Hallmark Channel. She also enjoyed dancing and was often found entertaining the residents and staff at Christ the King Manor.

Most of all Patricia enjoyed her family.  She empathetically cared for both of her parents until their passing and honorably took over the family traditions they instilled in her.  Proud of her Italian heritage, she prepared many Roman Holiday meals and gathering family together to prepare ravioli for the holidays.

Patricia will be deeply missed by her daughters, Paula DuBois and her husband Jeff and Pam Walsh, both of DuBois, PA.  In addition to her daughters, she is survived by her brother, James Penvose, grandchildren Ashley Ankeny, Jeff Snyder, Sean DuBois, and Brendan DuBois, and great grandson Ryder Ankeny Snyder, who after all of the years of Patricia being referred to as “Nona”, changed her name to “Nana”. She was also survived by many other family members.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Scribe, and brothers, Louis Rigatti and William Penvose.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 4 – 7 PM and Friday, October 28, 2022 from 10 AM until the time of service at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 AM from the funeral home with Father Matias Quimno officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Patricia’s memory to the DuBois Area YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, 25 Parkway Drive, DuBois, PA 15801.
