Administrators Pompeii Posted January 13, 2023 Administrators Share Posted January 13, 2023 This came up in my memories. 5 years ago my friend Tony Bruno and I were walking along in Sax Zim Bog in Minnesota looking for Great Gray Owls. Our friends had dropped us off to look for birds at another location. The temperature was a balmy 24 degrees below zero and we were walking to hopefully get warm so as to not freeze into a statue. We did find this Owl and at one point he flew right at us. He was close but not as close as this pic may make you think.
