Administrators Pompeii Posted January 18, 2023 Administrators Share Posted January 18, 2023 Rita F. Armagost, age 68 of Punxsutawney, PA died Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at her home. Born on June 27, 1954 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Margaret (Anthony) Manners. On June 22, 1996 she married John R. “Bob” Armagost. He survives. Rita was a homemaker. She enjoyed baking and being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her three children; Tammy Randolph, Jeanne Manners and Danny Irwin and his wife Toni, all of DuBois, PA, one brother Mike Manners and his wife Debbie of DuBois, PA, two sisters; Annie Manners of Sykesville, PA and Sue Tiser and her husband Oscar of Lake Arthur, LA, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Rita was preceded in death by one son; Christopher Armagost. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10:30 AM from the funeral home with Pastor Terry Spencer officiating. Burial will take place in Beulah Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
