Administrators Pompeii Posted January 31, 2023 Administrators Share Posted January 31, 2023 John Patrick Yablinsky, age 74 of DuBois, PA died Sunday, January 29, 2023 at his home. Born on February 27, 1948 in Spangler, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Theresa (Bobby) Yablinsky. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Judith Ann (Davidson) Yablinsky. John was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War. He graduated with an Associate Degree in drafting from Gateway Institute. He served as a foreman in highway construction for many years. John, along with his wife, was active in the Treasure Lake Church, a place that was very important to him. He especially enjoyed the men’s prayer breakfast. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, loved his country and loved his dog, Proverbs Promise. John is also survived by two sisters Christine and Kathy and one brother Edward. He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 10 AM from Treasure Lake Church with Pastor David Ginn officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard from the church. Burial will take place in Morningside Cemetery.
