Administrators Pompeii Posted July 8, 2023 Administrators Share Posted July 8, 2023 Margaret A. “Peggy” Guido, Age 83 of DuBois, PA died Friday, July 7, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on June 5, 1940 in Force, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Charles & Pearl (Berti) DeLullo. On September 30, 1961, she married her husband of 61 years, Anthony S. Guido. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2022. Peggy was all about her family and caring for others. She centered her world around raising her children and spoiling her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and learning new things. Peggy was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. Margaret is survived by four children; John A. Guido and his wife Kelly of Flint Hill, VA, James P. Guido and his wife Dianne of Jupiter, FL, Mary Meredith and her husband Paul of DuBois, PA, and Margie Guido and her husband John Hawkins of Alexandria, VA, five grandchildren; Hannah, Weston, Liam, Erin and Renee. She was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters. There will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 10 AM from St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery. Although flowers are appreciated, the family strongly suggests that memorial contributions be kept locally and made to a charity of the donor’s choice in the DuBois area. The Baronick Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
