Administrators Pompeii Posted August 8, 2023 Administrators Share Posted August 8, 2023 Lawrence E. Larson, age 73 of DuBois, PA died Monday, August 7, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on February 1, 1950, in Tabor City, NC, he was the son of the late James Larson and Edna (Faircloth) Todd. On October 10, 2015 he married Lorinda (Bierly) Larson. She survives. Larry retired from the United States Army, after 20 years of service. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, and going to the ocean. He also enjoyed being at home and watching movies. Larry is survived by his children (Clifford Larson, Carman K. Doran and her husband Christopher and Channah K. Larson, all of Virginia),one stepson (Nathan J. Baker of Florida), seven grandchildren and one sister (Sylvia Holleman of North Carolina). He was preceded in death by two sisters (Sandra Larson and Diane Smith) and one brother (Patrick Larson). Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 10 am until noon at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at noon from the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by the members of the DuBois Area Honor Guard from the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
