Administrators Pompeii Posted August 16, 2023 Administrators Share Posted August 16, 2023 Elizabeth Delaney Padgett, 63, of Black Mountain, NC, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023 at CarePartners Hospice. Beth was born in DuBois, PA and had lived much of her life in Black Mountain. She worked in social services following graduation from Thiel College in Greenville, PA. Beth was preceded in death by her father, Michael Delaney and mother, Mary Constance Guth Stuyvesant. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Bobby Padgett of 18 years; daughter, Shara Alvarez of State College, PA; sisters, Karen Cadwell (Robert) of Du Bois, PA, Mary Sue Brooks (Raymond) of Rochester, NY, Laurie Dull (Barry) of Mentor, OH and Linda Delaney of Espyville, PA; and stepsons, David, Dustin, and Dylan Padgett, Matthew Friend and Travis Kirkland. A Graveside Service and burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Reynoldsville, PA on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1:00pm.
