Shiner, age 53 of DuBois, PA died Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on November 9, 1969 in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles R. and Ruth M. (Pugh) Shiner. Dave was a 1987 graduate of the DuBois Area High School. He had worked for many years at the Reynoldsville Casket Company. Dave was an avid movie buff and enjoyed fishing and watching sports. Dave is survived by his siblings (Lucille Moore and her husband Jeffrey, Richard Ziolko and his fiancé Penny Kopeck and Stacey Albert all of DuBois, PA and Patty Bailey and her husband Scott of Jacksonville, FL). He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters (Joyce Lalueza and Ruth Antonelle). There will be no public visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Penn Highlands Intensive Care Unit, 100 Hospital Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
