Heilbrun, age 76 of Brockway, PA died Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on August 31, 1947 in Munderf, PA, he was the son of the late James E. and Virgie E. (Miller) Heilbrun. In 2008 he married Deborah J. (Welsh) Heilbrun. She survives. Jake was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired as a general contractor and home builder. He was a member of the Brockway Sportsman’s Club, the Brockway Orient Club, and was a life member of the Warsaw Sportsman’s Club. Jake enjoyed hunting and coin collecting. He loved to go for rides and enjoyed nature and all of its beauty. Along with his wife, Jake is survived by three children; Don Heilbrun (Carrie), and Shawn Heilbrun both of Brockway, PA and Bridget Heilbrun of Brockport, PA, four step children Steven Clark (Kimberly), Jennifer Beers (Matt) and Chelsey Pisarchick (Darren) all of Brockway, PA and Eric Clark of Pittsburgh, PA, seven grandchildren and two brothers; Jerry and Jesse Heilbrun both of Brockway, PA. Jake was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Heilbrun, three sisters and five brothers. There will be no public visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Brockway Ambulance, 1147 Cherry Street, Brockway, PA 15824.
