Administrators Pompeii Posted September 29, 2023 Administrators Share Posted September 29, 2023 Davey and I were finally out and about in nature again early afternoon. We came across this young Bobcat in the state park, just off the roadway and sneaking through the shadows. I pulled off at a nearby parking area and we got out of the Jeep and moseyed in the direction of the young cat. I could see it in the shadows still but walking toward an opening. Davey was singing and I was shushing him to no avail when the cat stepped into the gap, sat down and watched us. Davey was about 20 feet to my right and still vocalizing his joy with life loudly while I stood taking pictures and the cat tried to figure out the complexity of the whole scene.
