Administrators Pompeii Posted October 9, 2023 Administrators Share Posted October 9, 2023 Lola Mae Royer, age 75 of DuBois, PA died Friday, October 6, 2023 at the Embassy of Hearthside Rehabilitation Center in State College, PA. Born on July 7, 1948 in Weedville, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Phoebe (Barrett) Fletcher. She married Michael W. “Mick” Royer. He preceded her in death on January 4, 2013. Lola was a homemaker and had worked at both Steak N Snack and the deli at Riverside Market on Main Street for 25 years. She was a member of Narrows Creek Church, and enjoyed cooking and knitting. Lola is survived by her children, David Royer of DuBois, PA; Mark Royer & his wife Gina of Reynoldsville, PA; and Gerald Royer of Rockton, PA; her grandchildren Danielle and Brittney Royer, Austin Stankavich, Jacey (Chuck) Golder, Jordan (Ethan ) Gillespie, Erin (TJ) Troup and Braden Royer; 9 great grandchildren, and a sister Judy Sweed of DuBois, PA. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nicole Royer, and 3 brothers, David, Frederick, and Joseph Fletcher. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 6 – 8 pm at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
