Administrators Pompeii Posted October 10, 2023 Administrators Share Posted October 10, 2023 Sara M. Lydick, age 91 of DuBois, PA died Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on October 16, 1931 in Oxford, PA, she was the daughter of the late Evan Townsend. Sara retired from Owens Illinois after 35 years of service. She was an avid sports fan. She also bowled on two bowling leagues. She is survived by her three sons (Jim Lydick of DuBois, PA, Steve (Cindy) Lydick of Falls Creek, PA and Bill (Bernadette) Lydick of Wilkes-Barre, PA) seven grandchildren (Marlana (Justin) Decker, Rachel (Troy) Frederick, Andrea (Brian) Anthony, Jordan (Amy) Lydick, Patrick (Lacey) Lydick, Hunter (fiance Hannah Samson) and Ireland Lydick) and twelve great grandchildren (Eric and Cole Decker, Bentley and Holden Frederick, Chase and Drew Anthony, Adam and Aaron Lydick and Karis, Kayah, Kannon and Kaven Lydick.) Sara was preceded in death by two sisters (Edith Bryant and Ruth Brown), daughter in law (Patty Lydick), granddaughter (Morgan Alexandrea) and great granddaughter (Sydney Rae Anthony). There will be no public visitation. Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Zion Methodist Church, 16 Denton Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801. The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
