Administrators Pompeii Posted October 12, 2023 Administrators Share Posted October 12, 2023 James Michael “Jimbo” Schutz, age 61 of DuBois, PA died Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at his home. Born on November 8, 1961 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late John B. and Shirley (Renwick) Schutz. Jimbo retired after 38 years of service from Owens Illinois. He enjoyed camping, fishing and boating. He was a member of the Independent, Political and Social Club, and an avid Harley Davidson rider. Jimbo is survived by one son (Josh J. Schutz of Punxsutawney, PA), three grandchildren (Haley, Thad and Louella Schutz), siblings (John D. Schutz and his wife Jacqueline, Donna Schutz, Robert Schutz, and Lori Manners and her husband Joseph, all of DuBois, PA and Ronald Schutz of Punxsutawney, PA). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 4 – 7 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A private service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
