Glowacki, Age 95 died Saturday, November 4, 2023 at her home. | Born on August 27, 1928 in Helvetia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Rajavich) Rutkowski. She was married to Edward Glowacki. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1983. Helen retired from Penn Traffic Company after many years of service. After retirement, she worked many years at Schaffner Furniture. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Infant of Prague Society. She also loved going to Parkside Community Center and was a 50-year member of the DuBois YMCA. Helen is survived by her children, (Francis S. Glowacki of Chicago, IL and Mary Lou Wingard and her husband Gary of Brockway, PA), her grandchildren, (Kristie Clark and Suzanne Wingard), and two great grandchildren, (Natalia and Natalie Clark). She was preceded in death by her grandson, (Daniel Glowacki), six sisters, (Dorothy and Violet Siemucha, Isabelle Bochiechio, Henrietta Ventura, and Frances and Mary Rutkowski), and two brothers, (Edward and William Rutkowski). Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. The rosary will be prayed on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 10 a.m. from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Memorial may be placed with Parkside Community Center, 120 West Park Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
