Administrators Pompeii Posted November 15, 2023 Administrators Share Posted November 15, 2023 Donna M. Erickson, age 91 of DuBois, PA died Monday, November 13, 2023 at Christ the King Manor. Born on August 16, 1932 in Chatham Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late John & Vera (Taft) Short. On May 2, 1951 she married Keith E. Erickson. He preceded her in death on August 24, 2017. Donna retired from the Brockway Glass Company after many years of service. She enjoyed watching her songbirds, wintering in Myrtle Beach for 27 years, going to camp in the summertime, and she was an avid reader. Above all, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donna is survived by one son, (Brian Erickson and his wife Shelly), one daughter, (Karen Spicher and her husband Rick), and daughter in law, (Dee Erickson), all of DuBois, PA, eight grandchildren; (Amie Erickson Brian Erickson, Sean Hoyt, Deryk Spicher, Kristy Himes, Ian Erickson, Bethany Erickson, and Jennie Thomas), numerous great grandchildren , and a step brother (Charles Bryant of Westfield, PA). She was preceded in death by one son, (Eric Erickson), and her step father, (Robert Bryant). Visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 12 p.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Butch Brunner officiating. Interment will be in Luthersburg Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the DuBois Public Library, 31 South Brady St. and/or Christ the King Manor Activities Department, C/O Windy Irwin, 1100 West Long Ave., both in DuBois, PA 15801.
