(Cyphert) Lingenfelter, age 69 of DuBois, PA died Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital. Born on January 11, 1954 in Brookville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Geneva (Smith) Miller. Susan had worked as a nurse’s aide at Nelson’s Golden years for over 20 years. She had been a volunteer for the American Red Cross, enjoyed making afghans, reading and spending time with her family. She is survived by her two sons (David Miller and his wife Tammy of Brookville, PA and Donald Cyphert and his fiancé Morgan Scoggins of DuBois, PA), eight grandchildren (Abigale Tosh, Luke and Troy Miller, David Cyphert, Michael Murray, Leyla DeBlasio, Lauryn Kitchen and Isabella Lavelle), and three great grandchildren (Ella, Addie and Eli). Susan was preceded in death by one son (Michael Cyphert) and one brother (John Miller). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 6 – 8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A private family service will be held. Interment will take place at Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Nelson’s Golden Years Patient Activities, 137 Oklahoma Cemetary Road, DuBois, PA 15801.
