Rosman, Deborah.jpg
Deborah R. (Myers) Rosman, Age 67 of Sykesville, PA died Friday, December 8, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born on November 4, 1956 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. Myers and Frances Ruth (Lundberg) Hand.

On February 11, 1974, she married her husband of 49 years, Robert P. Rosman.  He survives.

Deb was retired as a registered nurse from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the DuBois Regional Medical Center after over a 30-year career.  She touched countless lives with her compassion and love and became life-long friends with many of those she cared for and their families.  She was ever so grateful for her “work family” and the physicians and nurses that helped her along the way.

She attended Soldier Community Church and loved to do pottery, quilting and crafts. She loved to travel and especially loved her family trips to the beach.   Deb was well known for her baking and enjoyed showing her love and appreciation for others by never arriving at an appointment or event without a bag of goodies.  Deb always put a smile on your face.  She was loved and will be missed by many.

Deb is survived by four children (Latrisha Cowan and her husband Kevin of Reynoldsville, PA; Robert “Bobby” Rosman, Jr.  of Sykesville, PA; Rachele Brida and her husband Chris of State College, PA; and Harry Rosman and his wife Casey of Sykesville, PA), her siblings (Judy Metalonis of East Falmouth, MA; Carol McCullough and her husband Donald of Butler, PA; and Shelly Erickson & her husband Brian of DuBois, PA), her grandchildren ( Corey, Joshua, and Casey Rosman; Karissa and Kendra Cowan; and Connor and Grayson Brida), two great grandchildren on the way, a brother-in-law (Ray DeRalph of Reynoldsville, PA), and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson (Kaleb Cowan), a brother (Denny Myers) , and a sister (Nancy DeRalph), and a brother-in-law (Paul Metalonis).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Brooks officiating.

Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.

In honor of Deb’s love of children, the family asks that memorial donations be made to any organization of your choice that benefits children such as Make a Wish and St. Jude’s Children's Hospital
