Administrators Pompeii Posted January 6 Administrators Share Posted January 6 Nancy E. Kriner, Age 84 of DuBois, PA, died Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Christ the King Manor. Born on August 14, 1939 in Punxsutawney, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Alverta (Cochran) Hurd. On November 23, 1963, she married her husband of 60 years, Robert G. Kriner. He survives. Nancy was a homemaker. She loved her flower garden and taking care of her home. Nancy was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and had been a Meals on Wheels Volunteer for many years. She is survived by 3 daughters (Leslie Mortimer-Logan & her husband Thomas , Lynn Frantz & her husband Jay, and Sandy Hendricks and her husband James, all of DuBois, PA), 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and a sister (Janet Burkis of Hilton, NY). Nancy was preceded in death by her 3 sisters ( Audrey, Donna, and Jeanie). There will be no public visitation and private funeral services will be held from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor Terry Felt officiating. Burial will follow in Luthersburg Union Cemetery. Memorials may be placed with the DuBois Ministerial Food Pantry, P.O. Box 157, DuBois, PA 15801.
