Administrators Pompeii Posted January 18 Administrators Share Posted January 18 Iser M. “Ike” Bearfield, age 84 of Brockport, PA died Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at his home. Born on February 17, 1939 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Louise (McNeil) Bearfield. He was a 1957 graduate of Sandy High School. On July 25, 1958 he married Patricia A. (Sperling) Bearfield. She preceded him in death on June 8, 2023. Ike was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. He retired after a 45- year career as an over the road truck driver. Ike was a member of St. Tobias Roman Catholic Church. He loved to mow his lawn and do yardwork, collect coins and go to auctions. He is survived by his daughters; (Deborah Krach of Reynoldsville, PA, and Lurette Buckvich and her husband David of Luthersburg, PA), four grandchildren; (Dana Drake and Lara Hoffman, and Robert and Devanie Krach), and three great grandchildren; (Bobby Krach, Jr. and Levi and Waylen Drake), and one sister (Patricia Bearfield of DuBois, PA). Ike was preceded in death by six brothers (James, Charles “Junebug”, William, Steven, Donald and John) and three sisters (Wanda Lepionka, Martha Federici and Georgine Burns). There will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11 AM from St. Tobias Roman Catholic Church with Father John Detisch as celebrant. Burial will take place in Morningside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Tobias Roman Catholic Church, 1135 Hewitt Street, Brockway, PA 15824.
