Administrators Pompeii Posted February 12 Administrators Share Posted February 12 Beverly A. Blakeslee, age 77 of DuBois, PA died Monday, February 12, 2024 at Christ the King Manor. Born on July 26, 1946 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sadie (Tabone) Nardello. When she was 16 years old, Beverly moved to DuBois and made her home with Sam and Ruth Tabone. Beverly was a 1964 graduate of DuBois Area High School. On September 20, 1969, she married Barton G. Blakeslee, Jr. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2004. Beverly retired from Bi-Lo Foods as Bakery Manager after 30 years of service. She had also been a phone operator for Bell of PA. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church where she had served as a Eucharistic Minister. She is survived by one son (Michael J. Blakeslee and his wife Heather of DuBois, PA), two grandchildren (Alma Lynn and Harrison James Blakeslee, both of DuBois, PA) and one sister (Paula Territo and her husband Jim of DuBois, PA). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 6 – 8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 10 AM from Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Parish at St. Catherine of Siena with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Burial will take place in Morningside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Parish at St. Catherine, 118 S State Street, DuBois, PA 15801.
