Armanini, age 80, formerly of Sykesville, PA and Troutville, PA, died Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Christ the King Manor. Born on June 29, 1943 in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Clara (Lingenfelter) Schoening. On June 27, 1989 she married Carlo Armanini. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2006. Betty was a homemaker. She loved bingo and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty is survived by one son (Arthur Beatty, Jr. and his wife Melissa of Sykesville, PA), three grandchildren (Chelsea and Jessica Beatty and Nathan Alvetro and his wife Heather, all of Sykesville, PA), three great grandchildren (Bricen, Bentley and Braxton), one sister (Helen Lockwood of Luthersburg, PA ) and two brothers (William and Robert Schoening , both of DuBois, PA). She was preceded in death by one daughter (Kimberly A. Alvetro), three brothers (Wally, Theodore and Benjamin Schoening) and two sisters (Phyllis Zalewski and Dorothy Shimmel). A private visitation and funeral service will be held from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor Terry Felt officiating. Burial will take place in Troutville Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and/or Sykesville Volunteer Fire Department, 106 East Liberty Street, Sykesville, PA 15865.
