  1. A Day with Mitch and Alan | ProActive Grieving @ IUP in Punxsutawney 1012 Winslow St. Event Date: Saturday September 21st Event Time: 9 am to 4 pm WHAT IS A DAY WITH MITCH AND ALAN? This workshop is very unique in its approach to addressing many grief issues that confront the bereaved on a daily basis. You will find the workshops stimulating, comforting, proactive, and hopefully enjoyable. This workshop will greatly benefit the newly bereaved, the seasoned bereaved, and those who care for the bereaved. Using their original music and art coupled with humor and provocative dialogue, Mitch and Alan have created a unique day that includes four sessions. Session #1 The Grief Journey

  3. The first meeting of the local chapter of the Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM) is set for Tuesday, September 17th. Registration and the buffet breakfast are set for 8 AM and the meeting will begin at 8:30. The meeting will be held at the DuBois Diner. There is no cost for the buffet and the meeting. At this meeting officers will be installed and plans for upcoming meetings will be discussed. The results of survey done with local industry will be reviewed. In addition, Shelley DiGilarmo will present information about the SHRM organization and the benefits of being a national member.   17. DuBOIS - DRMC Snore Patrol will meet at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10, in St. Camillus Hall at DuBois Regional Medical Center West, according to the Sleep Lab at DRMC. Snore Patrol is for anyone who has sleep apnea. Free to attend, the Sleep Lab experts will be on hand to answer questions and present information. This quarter, Dr. Nathaniel Cole from Cole Orthodontic Associates will discuss dental devices and their role in the treatment of sleep apnea.
