Military Documents About Gain of Function Contradict Fauci Testimony Under Oath
Military documents state that EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA in March 2018 seeking funding to conduct gain of function research of bat borne coronaviruses. The proposal, named Project Defuse, was rejected by DARPA over safety concerns and the notion that it violates the gain of function research moratorium.
The main report regarding the EcoHealth Alliance proposal leaked on the internet a couple of months ago, it has remained unverified until now. Project Veritas has obtained a separate report to the Inspector General of the Department of Defense, written by U.S. Marine Corp Major, Joseph Murphy, a former DARPA Fellow.
“The proposal does not mention or assess potential risks of Gain of Function (GoF) research,” a direct quote from the DARPA rejection letter.
Project Veritas reached out to DARPA for comment regarding the hidden documents and spoke with the Chief of Communications, Jared Adams, who said, “It doesn’t sound normal to me,” when asked about the way the documents were buried.
[WASHINGTON, D.C. – Jan. 10, 2022] Project Veritas has obtained startling never-before-seen documents regarding the origins of COVID-19, gain of function research, vaccines, potential treatments which have been suppressed, and the government’s effort to conceal all of this.
The documents in question stem from a report at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, better known as DARPA, which were hidden in a top secret shared drive.
DARPA is an agency under the U.S. Department of Defense in charge of facilitating research in technology with potential military applications.
Project Veritas has obtained a separate report to the Inspector General of the Department of Defense written by U.S. Marine Corp Major, Joseph Murphy, a former DARPA Fellow.
The report states that EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA in March 2018, seeking funding to conduct gain of function research of bat borne coronaviruses. According to the documents, NIAID, under the direction of Dr. Fauci, went ahead with the research in Wuhan, China and at several sites across the U.S.
Dr. Fauci has repeatedly maintained, under oath, that the NIH and NAIAD have not been involved in gain of function research with the EcoHealth Alliance program. But according to the documents obtained by Project Veritas which outline why EcoHealth Alliance’s proposal was rejected, DARPA certainly classified the research as gain of function.

Major Murphy’s report goes on to detail great concern over the COVID-19 gain of function program, the concealment of documents, the suppression of potential curatives, like Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine, and the mRNA vaccines.
Project Veritas reached out to DARPA for comment regarding the hidden documents and spoke with the Chief of Communications, Jared Adams, who said, “It doesn’t sound normal to me,” when asked about the way the documents were shrouded in secrecy. “If something resides in a classified setting, then it should be appropriately marked,” Adams said. “I’m not at all familiar with unmarked documents that reside in a classified space, no.”
In a video breaking this story published on Monday night, Project Veritas CEO, James O’Keefe, asked a foundational question to DARPA:
“Who at DARPA made the decision to bury the original report? They could have raised red flags to the Pentagon, the White House, or Congress, which may have prevented this entire pandemic that has led to the deaths of 5.4 million people worldwide and caused much pain and suffering to many millions more.”
Dr. Anthony Fauci has not yet responded to a request for comment on this story.

An attorney for a handful of Jeffrey Epstein accusers has called the possibility of a mistrial in Ghislaine Maxwell’s case a “punch in the gut” for all the victims.
Lisa Bloom said it was “just awful” that the Epstein madam could have her sex-trafficking conviction overturned in light of juror Scotty David admitting that he swayed deliberations by detailing his own childhood sex abuse.
“Ghislaine Maxwell may get a new trial. Really. Because another human was sexually abused,” Bloom, who represents eight accusers, tweeted late Wednesday after Maxwell’s team asked for a new trial.
The experienced lawyer called it a “very bad sign” that “both sides are indicating [the juror] was not truthful” in the questionnaire that had required all prospective jurors to reveal if they or anyone close to them had suffered such abuse.
“That document is not public … but the attorneys and the judge know,” Bloom continued, noting how prosecutors want an inquiry and the judge set a schedule for a mistrial motion.
Jurors’ questionnaires remain under seal.
“IF he lied and IF the court finds it was material, the judge may order a new trial,” tweeted Bloom.
“My heart goes out to the 4 victims, who will have to do it all again,” Bloom said of the women whose testimony led to Maxwell’s conviction.
“And because this juror was a victim, and was brave enough to tell his story in the deliberations room and stand with the other victims, a convicted sex trafficker may get a do-over.
“Just a punch in the gut to the 8 Jeffrey Epstein victims I represent,” she tweeted.
Bloom stressed that “being a sexual abuse victim does NOT disqualify you from serving on a sexual abuse jury.”
“The issue is whether this juror lied on his questionnaire, depriving the defense of the chance to ask him Qs during jury selection to see if he was biased,” she said.
Before the mistrial motion, Annie Farmer, the only Maxwell victim to testify using her full name, had said she was “overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude for this juror who was brave enough to disclose his own trauma to help others understand the experience.”
Farmer did not appear to have responded to the latest developments.

COVID-19 “medicine kits” containing ivermectin, azithromycin, and vitamins D and C are being distributed in the Indian city of Varanasi as part of measures to prepare for surge in cases of COVID-19.
A large quantity of the kits were procured from the government by District Magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma, and distribution in the city began on Jan. 1, said Additional Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sanjay Rai, the Hindustan Times reported.
Varanasi is located in Uttar Pradesh, a state in northern India with over 200 million people. The city has an estimated population of over 4.2 million.
“A total of 874 committees will distribute the kits in rural areas under eight primary health centers in developmental block areas of Varanasi,” Rai said.
He added, “Likewise, monitoring committees of all 90 wards will distribute the COVID medicine kits in urban areas under 24 [primary health centers]. These committees will also distribute the kits in Ramnagar and Gangapur areas.”
The COVID-19 medicine kits are also being made available at other locations in the city, including at seven hospitals, railway stations, bus stands, and a prison, according to the Hindustan Times.
Rai said different kits will be made available for varying age groups.
“The kits for children from birth to 1 year, and 1–5 years contain paracetamol drops, [oral rehydration salts], and multivitamin drops. While for 5–12 years, it has paracetamol tablets, ivermectin 6 mg and vitamin B complex,” he said.
“Azithromycin 500, ivermectin 12 mg, vitamin D3, vitamin C, zinc, vitamin B complex, and paracetamol tablets are available for those above 12 years,” he added.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary told ANI that the medicine kits are being distributed as part of a preventative measure in the city, amid fears of a third wave of COVID-19.
“We’ll give these kits to people getting tested for COVID. We have already distributed 50 kits each to vigilance committees in rural and urban areas,” he said.
Following a slight uptick in COVID-19 cases in the city, the district magistrate urged residents to adhere to measures to curb the spread of the virus, including including wearing masks, sanitizing hands frequently, and social distancing.
Medicine kits have previously been distributed in Uttar Pradesh to tackle rising COVID-19 cases and contain transmission in May 2021, but it isn’t clear if the government has ever formally disclosed the contents of those medicine kits. According to Dr. Robert Malone, who helped develop the mRNA vaccine technology, one of those components was rumored to be ivermectin, but this was not confirmed.
Although ivermectin is an FDA-approved anti-parasitic, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has warned against its use as a treatment for COVID-19. Ivermectin is available in both human and veterinary products.
The CDC says people have been hospitalized after self-medicating with a form of ivermectin used to treat livestock for parasites, and that large doses can be fatal. Ivermectin has been prescribed as an anti-viral and anti-parasitic for human use for decades and its creator won a Nobel Prize in 2015.
