Thanks, I'm okay and then the tears start again.  He was such a good boy, he gave us many happy memories.  It's like we lost part of our family yesterday.

We said goodbye to our dear Friend and Companion yesterday.  RIP Skip, we love you and miss you.

I'm putting a date on myself here, but yes I remember Santa.  I should add I was very, very young when it was paved over!  

I had a ton of cone flowers this year, that were beautiful.  Petee, Lavender????? How do you harvest the seeds for these?

My sister in law gave this a while back.  It is of the old  DuBois Barber shop, not sure of the location though.

Hey Petee since you're on here, off subject, but the pods on my moonflowers, do they have seeds in them.  If so do you want them for the garden club?

The heavy rain broke 4 of her flowers off last night... :'(

Came home today to find her starting to bloom!

They are supposed to come back, but I need to find out what to do with it for the winter.  Some say bring it in, others say mulch it and it will be fine.  Help or knowledge on that one would be appreciated.  And yes I'll the post the pics when she blooms.

Remember how small this was when I bought it at the garden club sale?  She's ready to bloom, I can't wait to see the flower.  The smaller one to the right was only 4 inches tall when I planted it, it's doing well also.

Pimento Cheese Ball  Great for the Holidays!

4 packs of Philly Cream Cheese Softened

Pimento Cheese (found in jars or in the deli in 1/2 lb containers)

  If by the jar 4 jars

  If by the container (1) 1/2 lb. container

4 tbsp dried chopped onion

1 jar of green chilis

1 lb bag of crushed nuts (I use almonds) I put them in a large freezer bag and roll]

  with a rolling pin to crush them

Let the cream cheese soften and add pimento cheese, dried onion, and green chilis.  You can use a mixer but I use my hands to mix and form into a ball.

Roll ball in crushed nuts and place on serving tray.  Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving with your choice of crackers.
